Very interesting! I was in the Army in the late 1980s, and MRE's have come a LONG way in quality and flavor since then. It's great that they're constantly improving them for our troops. Having said all that, it is a bit different eating freshly cooked and prepared food (like in the video) compared to opening up an MRE and eating the packaged components!
@bunny153649 I'm sure someone's covered this, but... MRE's aren't meant to be something a soldier would eat every day at a military base. Rather, they are meant for use in the field, where it can be tough to send out fresh food to them three times a day. They have a lot of calories, carbs, etc. because they are supposed to satisfy the nutritional and energy needs of a soldier who is in a combat environment.
the mres are good for you in some aspects, but you need to watch how much you eat. one mre as 1200 calories in it, but its loaded with carbs and protein. i dont think they have a lot of preservatives because all the food is vaccum sealed and the package is vaccum sealed.
Im not sure that the food they tasted came from MREs, probably cooked for the occasion on the same menu and made some days ago, they should taste it after 3 years of storage.

Food made to poison our troops by the lowest Jew bidders who pocket the difference in their Swiss and Belgian bank accounts. Check out the fat ass Jew in the Chef's uniform in this video.
There are only three MRE entrees that tastes good. All the rest are junk and taste like garbage. Chicken and Dumplings, Potatoes and bacon, and Chicken a la King. Banana nut bread is good. Everything else spoils after a couple of years. Garbage,Garbage,Garbage.

No is great for your body, they can help you gain weight and muscle.
But many have around 1800 calories or 2400 and you need 1500 to gain one pound.
