PS..hot dogs are fully cooked..if you heat the pan up you can then remove the pan and just roll them in the pan hand held and shifting the pan or add water, heat that to a boil then remove the pan and set the dog in the water for a couple of minutes. In other words..direct heat and hot doggs do not need to go together...the will taste better.
This was something else...I think you are actually on to something here with a little work. The cast iron pan was the kicker...The Dutch Oven with the Coals may be a thing of the past...oh..FYI: smart guys sometimes need a little help...USE WOODEN TONGS TO MOVE THE FOOD! you will reduce the 2nd & 3rd degree burns that way...just a suggestion. Glad to see this vid...made it a favorite.
Awesome demonstration of the sun's power. However, I was nervous that you were going to burn your hand! You did a good job mounting that lens to a frame.
eat that radiation!!

I'm surprised you didn't burn a hole through your pan. You seem as though you just barely know what you're doing...

Would it be better to have a heat sink then the heat goes up to fry pan.The lens hits the heat sink first then transfer up to pan
