Thanks! Very imformative. I was always curious about fixies, but now I know you have to be crazy to ride these in the street! I love the idea of it being so simple mechanical wise, but I better stick with a regular single speed. :-)

@misfits748 I think you're the fail because thats their actual use. People just started using them on the road, which frankly is dangerous. One should really have a front brake.

@Christoff87 I don't think you understood what I meant.. There are mountain bikes, road bikes, cruisers, track bikes. No such things as a fixed gear bike, it's not a frame style, there's no "fixed gear" frame. Though there are bikes with the geometry especially for a fixed gear wheel, it's gotta be a track frame or a road frame. Sorry for rambling on, I just want to get the point through.

Can I ask how tall you are and what frame size your Leader is?

@maxxis700 I'm 5'7" and i have a 53. fits great! If youre thinking about purchasing a leader frame I'd give them a call over at the factory they were pretty friendly and helpful last time i called.
