So lets see the rest of your firebird. Sounds like you have a solid start to restoration. 4.3 though?? Gotta get some v-8 power. Easy to change that out. I originally bought my firebird for $200 also.
@chevydude400 Yeah, that's the first thing I'm gonna do when I start making some money. I'd like to get a 400 Pontiac but I'll most likely just build a mild 350 Chevy just because of the availability of parts around here. 4.3s aren't all that bad though, they have around the same output as a 305 v8.
@mustangboss402 The reason it was so cheap was because the engine was shot and the guy needed to get rid of it quickly. The body has no rust at all, except for a small hole in the trunk. It could use a new paint job though lol.
