  • @Jennifermorales2000 It does work. You should have practised, like I put on the video. You messing up your shirt makes you the retard to be honest, not me.

  • @dodgyredhead watever

  • @Jennifermorales2000 what a reply! i mean really, 10 out of 10 for effort! Don't start something you cant finish.

  • @dodgyredhead u think you big nd tough...but ur not

  • @Jennifermorales2000 if you have the proof to back up your comment i would love to see it.

  • @Jennifermorales2000 Lol it worked for me. Sorry you are the dumbass that couldn't follow simple instructions from the video and use practice shirts to work on lol. I guess use your head and open your eyes next time.

  • @DasFremde Well said :)

  • I LOVE YOU

  • "okay?"

  • @CrypticCrescent Problem?

  • does the shirt have to be alot bigger than you?

  • @sweetlysweet100 it helps, but it does need to be bigger with enough to cut the slits and to tie them, as you will make it smaller when you tie it.

  • I just did a shirt i didnt practice tho. but the shirt came out great :D

  • It was going great until the knot part. I fucked up my Aerosmith shirt Cause i couldn't know it :(

  • life saver!!! i hav a tshirt copmetition in 2 days nd i had no idea wat to do for it..so thnx!!!!

  • i love it! :D

  • I tried doing this on an old tshirt.....didnt turn out so great :/ but great video !

  • Now when you say that your waist is 28in, did you measure the shirt or yourself? And your waist is just above your hips right? Or is it around your belly button?

  • @AlexandraBug I measured myself, and I measure my waist to be the smallest part of my torso which is around my belly button :)

  • omg i LOVE your hair! the red is gorgeous!

  • thank you sooo much with this lol i didn't have time for a trial run so i just took my chances following you very closely lol now I have wear my boyfriend's swim shirt :D

  • I seriously don't know why I am watching this video and how I even got here... Good trick though :D

  • @openyoureyes69 Ha I do that all the time. I watched a video about how to set up your computer to film yourself playing Call of Duty. I have never played that game, or any of that sort, in my life, But I watched it anyway. Thanks for the comment :)

  • ok, i would love to try this! how do these shirts wash? i'm wondering because all the unfinished edges that are left... thanks. :)

  • @eamcnulty On delicates, or if you have one of those small mesh bags that are used for the washing machine tablets, if you top fits inside (mine does) you can put it in a normal colour wash :)

  • do i have to measure?

  • its sooo pretty i tried this and i didnt mesure it lol and when i finished it fitted my 1 year old niece >.< but it came out coool xD

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks so much for this! I have no creative talent whatsoever but still managed to turn a well-loved but embarrassingly baggy t-shirt into something I'd happily wear in public :)

  • i did this last night and it turned out awesome !! i love it and i got so many compliments on it and likes on my fb that i had to go back to this video to thank you :) definitely put up more soon!

  • you are reel good at this thx i made one for a fren d

  • I really hope I can make this shirt style without screwing it up :\

  • i love your bottle top belt!

  • You are very talented, great video

  • @idakoosstorevideos Thank you so much :) That means a lot to me!

  • @dodgyredhead i love your accent

  • This video was amazing<3 It helped so much and actually made sense! Thankyou(:

  • Yet another epic shirt fixed with this method. >:D Thanks!

  • luv accent

  • Okay? :D oh okay

  • do you have to cut the sleeves of?

  • @SuperSweetheartchick no, if you want to keep them, then just continue the ties under the arms so you dont have big flappy arm sleeves. You can make them as tight or loose as you like, providing you have enough fabric. I hope that makes sense?

  • Could you make a video of how you made the shirt at 6:09 ?

  • @MiikaAmiira I completely agree with you.

  • @MiikaAmiira the pattern down the back? I can but it wont be a original idea as it was Adam Saaks who is the king of this type of alteration! maybe you should youtube search his name, there are LOADS of amazing videos up with more creative ideas from people who are a lot better at it then I am :) But I'm thinking of delving into this some more, so a video maybe on the books! I hope this helps.

  • @dodgyredhead Thanks so much! Also I love the color of your hair and your accent it so cute! >.< ^^

  • I tried it n it came out awesome thanks for the tip

  • Cuuuute shirt!

  • I absolutely LOVE your cute accent(:

  • Wow!

  • you are too cute and have a great username!!

  • This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing :) I can't tell you how many over-sized shirts I've just left to collect dust, thinking I couldn't make them cute haha.

  • so cool! love it!

  • Luv dis && i had to make one maself . Came out fliii .

  • @95cobhc Very much so!

  • Omg. I just finished one. It looks amazing ^____^

    Thank yoooou. -3

  • i do not like that but really good idea and i loove your accent lol

  • i've done something like this to my shirts for a LONG time now...glad to see ppl think it's awesome :) it only take me 20 min. :P

  • @1unnessecaryliedown4 Hi five!!!! Everyone should do this rather then waste old clothes. It still takes me about 40 mins to be honest, But I'm usually watching TV at the same time lol!

  • how long does this take?

  • @EmAmBFFL Honestly, if you've never done it, i would say give yourself at least an hour, but you could be quicker then that

  • @dodgyredhead awesome... i did it right after i watched the video. it took only 30 minutes!

  • @EmAmBFFL Awesome :) I'm pleased :)

  • Thank u so much for making this video :) it was very easy to follow through. So last night i made my first T n it came out awesome! I work in a daycare and thought it wud b a cool idea to get together with the girls n make this a fun activity. The girls luved it n were so excited to put on their new t shirts. ^_^

  • Awesome! Of course I didn't listen to you and I eff'd up a good t-shirt. No worries, though. Even though it's a tight fit...I'm wearing it anyway. And I know the next one will be AWESOME! Thanks for the great video! I just subscribed! ;)

  • thisss wasss sooooo helpful!!!! she gave really simple directions and my shirt turned out great!!!:D

  • Is it necessary to cut the seams? I'm ordering a band t shirt online and it may be a bit large, but I'd prefer not to cut the seams off.

  • @Glowingsweet You dont have to, but if you tie a seam and a seam together it will be a lot harder to do, but not impossible :)

  • @dodgyredhead Also, is it okay to wash it afterwards? Or will the knots come undone? Thank you!

  • thank you so much for posting this! I am terrible when it comes to anything creative, but your easy to follow methods have saved 5 old loveable shirts of mine! small suggestions that worked for me-instead of measuring waist (bc I never know belly button/above/under belly button?) find a shirt that fits you well & build your width & arm hole measurements off that; after cutting the tassels pull them to make them easier to tie (& cuter if you go with dangling tassel method) thanks again for post!

  • @sherilynnist Not something that I thought of but the best hint I've ever heard! I've liked this and I hope more people do so others can read this, on my next video (if I stop being so damned lazy!) You have no idea how pleased I am that you've changed your t-shirts well :)

  • Just tried this, it worked great! I had a t-shirt that I liked but never wore because it was too big, now I can actually wear it again!

  • I looooooove your accent! :D

  • can you do the knots on the side without cutting off the sleves? If so how do you do it??

  • @Nerdherd9396 You can :) you would cut under the arm (continuing from the part you've already cut on the sides, but not too far in) and do slits all the way down. OR you can leave the bottom attached and cut a along the top of the sleeve and do the same thing with the slits. Its hard to explain so I might make a video responce to this so I can show people :)

  • @dodgyredhead thank you so much, i got it after i watched the video :)

  • your skinny mini xD

  • @freakofmmh lol yea then, not anymore!!!

  • My t-shirt turned out great!!! I love the sleeves on the the green "Bed Bug" shirt shown at the end. Please share how you did that. Thanks!

  • Omgg Yhu Looked So Pertty In That Toppp !!!!!!!

  • @Sammy1053611 ffff

  • This was helpful & I love your accent ! ( :

  • I am beyond happy I found this vid. I just did a tattered shirt and simply love it. Now when I want to do one of my oversized better shirts i know it will work. thank you so much! EXCELLENT!!!

  • love this! thanks!

  • Your cuts were nicer than mine

  • just ruined my T-shirt...

  • @HilaryPerez I'm sorry to hear that, i suggest practising on a t-shirt you dont want as much though first...

  • U have a lisp lol jk ur awesome

  • @emogirl5141 Does my lisp offend you? If not, why bring it up?

  • Does it have to be large?

  • @Hanah1Loves1You it doesn't have to be a large mans top but if does have to be bigger then you because when you do the ties (even without taking it in) it will make it smaller. If its like 2 or maybe even 1 size (although that would still be tight) bigger then you it would work if you dont make the tassels too long.

  • amazing :]] i made it for my girlfriend. she loves it. <3

  • @spencerchemistry The fuck? TELL THAT BITCH TO MAKE YOU A FUCKING SANDWICH YOU FUCKING JEW!

  • @klm4298 is that a lame arse attempt at trying to upset people. I know your type, you just watch videos all day long and write crap like that for a reaction. Seriously, get a life and put down the penis enlarger, its obviously not working.

  • Awesome , im goinq to try this out :)

  • do you measure the smallest part of your waist?

  • @sweetgrad12 yea but if you want a little more give add some more inches on :)

  • I did this and it worked!!! I already started cutting it when i realized it was too small.. but I made a smaller cut through the sides so.. yeah it looks really good!! thank you so much!

  • @IHateYourFaceRawrr Thats excellent :) I'm really glad you like it :)

  • You are really pretty(:

  • O.O

How you did the lightblue shirt at the end??

    It looks amazing!!

The back looks so cute! But I dunno how to cut Q.Q

  • Thanks u so much!!! :D this is awesome

  • i love it!!!! :D

  • i just did this right now!!and it worked out perfectly! i love it thank you!!:D

  • Thanks so much for this video. I've been doing t-shirt surgery for a while now, since I'm too small for all my clothes, but this provided me with great new ideas. :D

  • omg!!! yes of course my daughter chloe loves her tshirt!!!

  • all i have to say is thank you thank you thank you i just did my daughters tshirt and it looks awesome of course not too fitted cause she is only 6 but man its awesome!!!

  • @mizzescherry Thats awesome! I hope your little girl loves her top :) I never thought of it before but you could use this to make kids clothes as well as fitted clothes instead of buying new clothes or throwing out good tops. If you dont mind in my next video (I'm planning on making one!) could I make a shout out to you and tell them about this idea? Because its your idea really, and a really good one at that!!!

  • I absolutely love your hair color. Is it natural or did you die it? If you did it yourself, could you tell me what color you used?

  • Great tutorial and I love both version of this look. I was just wondering what song you had used for the video?

  • @NeophyteFX Its called Sun Drums and Soil by Four Tet, an excellent instrumental musician :)

  • Could you please do a tutorial like "how to make a small t-shirt more larger"? please^^

  • quedo xulisimo

  • I love your accent !<33

  • lookin good there girl, thanks for the cute idea; KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ^^

  • I LOVE her belt

  • OHMYGOSHERS....you're very pretty :3 Umm...wow...this tutorial has gotten my head buzzing with ideas....I'm 13 and very bored during the summer so I've been revamping some clothing that's been lurking in my dresser-drawers. I have done a few shirts kind of like you did with your t-shirt, only there were a few things I'll have to try... Thank you for giving me some idears for my lovely plain t-shirts waiting in their drawers, ready to be tricked out! :D -LJ

  • i love your accent wow!!

  • hey! I just wanted to say thanks for posting this! I tried it out & it turned out great! Just a note for people who don't want to show there bra straps, I wear a tank top underneath... it still looks awesome. anyways. thank you!!!

  • @breakfastbars no worries :) And thats a very good point and it goes with all t-shirt cutting, if you dont want your bra strap or any flesh to be on show then wear a tank top or spaghetti strap top under and it looks excellent and give it a different look, especially if you wear two contrasting colours!

  • @breakfastbars hhghgjhgjhjhgj

  • Hi - I just watched Shakira's video for Rabiosa, from what I can judge - she is wearing a tshirt that was cut up and tied in an interesting way. I just wanted to suggest that you try to figure out how she did it and make one yourself (and then show us in a tutorial!!)

    P.S. I love your videos :D

  • @FaerieGirl456 I accept your challenge! Watch this space!

  • @dodgyredhead awesome - I will!!!

  • Do you have to cut from the top or can you cut from underneath the sleeves?

  • I love your belt!!! I hate the same one!!!

  • What happens when you wash it? like does it come undone?

  • @nintendorksent if you put it in the wash as is, then yea there is a possablilty of it coming undone or the cuts getting deeper or stretched which wont look good. Either you can wash it on delecates setting, hand wash it or what I do is i have a little bag (that you get with washing tablets for the washing machine, made of white net with a draw string) and I pop my top in there and in the wash. It gets cleaned but is kept together so's not to get all pulled a ruined.

  • you remind me of ellie goulding.

  • damn u fine

  • your'e skinny as hell..lol

  • so when we cut the sides do we cut it to the mark that we make??

  • @0nlyGirl01 yea the one you made with the extra 3 or so inches for allowance when tying :)

  • you are hot ^.^"

  • Beautiful

  • YeeeY!! I will not use this shiirt as a pijama anymore!! Thanks :D

  • This is perfect ! Just what I wanted - Thanks

  • Ahh I tried doing this b4 watching any tutorials on how to do this and a freaked up a new shirt my moms gonna b pissed!!!

  • ♥.♥ i love that spongebobshirt. oh and im definately trying this :)

  • i really wanna try this but instead of cutting the sleeves at the end could you just leave it like that so it could be like a t-shirt?

  • @MsAngulo1 yea if you wanted to leave to sleeves on thats no problem, but depending on how baggy the tap was to begin with you might have to continue the ties under the arm so the sleeves dont look too loose.

  • omg i <3 it! but im scared 2 try it . i already rined 2 shirts hahaha i used relle bad scissors i have great onez now but im paranoid

  • @SmileyRagDoll Thats understandable on your first few times. I used to get really nervous before cutting a tee shirt. I suggest using an old rubbish tee shirt that you dont like and test on that (I would never wear a Drunkn munky t-shirt, its my sisters old top! spongebob one though all the time!) if you dont have one try a second hand shop for really cheap to practice on. I'd hate that my video has ruined anyones good tshirts!

  • @dodgyredhead no no no it wasnt tryin to do ur t shirt tutorial ir waz another one and thats the one that ruined my shirts but ur actually made one of my old shirts look amazin! thxs ;0 and BTW u look like hayley williams tome lol im so jealous!
