That's the misconception with DForce. They may be bad live, but their shows are an absolute blast. They really know how to work a crowd.

And they've improved quite a lot with their life performances. Find a live performance of this song from 07, then watch one from late 08 and you'll notice a huge difference.

ZP's voice doesn't improve much though, it still cracks, but they can coordinate the solos well enough and the rest of it has tightened up a lot.
