  • Until now I was unsure what the letter Z was called in english.

  • biggest titz in the world, holy crap :D

  • @88whiteandblack Your feelings are mistaken! :)

  • @88whiteandblack That's what's so funny about it for most people. The conversation has come to a natural end, but they needed to end the sketch somehow so they went with an unexplained monkey impression. It's amazing seeing Kevin Eldon, who seconds earlier was apoplectic about the name change, suddenly sitting there nodding watching the impression as if he's really taking it in.

  • @88whiteandblack I think it's more like the discussion has come to stalemate, so Simon's character breaks the tension in order to move things on...

    It's funny!

  • It should be made illegal to not have a comedy sketch broadcast on TV that doesn't end with a minor character doing a monkey impression...

  • Now I know how to end any awkward situation.

  • *Long silence* Would anyone like to see my monkey impression? lol

  • X}}}}}}} LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • ...And after all that hard work from the rest of the cast, Simon Pegg just sweeps in and clears up!

  • Superb. I think i'll end my next crap work meeting with a monkey impression as well.

  • Would...anyone like...a peanut?

  • Big train was hit and miss, but when they were good they were very good.

  • Another genius scene fron Big Train

  • "Titz."

  • Nick Frost from Shaun of the Dead, etc actually came up with the monkey impression and Nick and Simon Pegg used to live together.

  • Would anyone like to see my monkey impression?

  • Its a superb monkey impression, and well handled too i would expect a lesser man to laugh when that milk explodes in his face.

  • that's what they should rename hooters to.

  • You can watch full episodes of this series on my channel! I love big train.

  • 3:14 god knows how he managed that!!! lol

  • push the lid in with you thumb, it explodes

  • haha cool! am gunna try that in a restaurant sometime!

  • This seems like a more traditional type of sketch than was usual for them (at least for the first three minutes).

  • I like how when Simon is doing the monkey impression, the seller of the hotel nods and looks on approvingly

  • its like they rented out the location n couldnt think of an end so made the most out of it :D

  • Well random at the end.

  • Not alot of people know that this is where Ed's 'Clyde' impression from Shaun Of The Dead comes from!

  • @DanthemanCTU24

I didn't know until I saw this for the first time a minute ago - but I recognized it right away.

  • @boydegg Its a classic

  • It's actually from a film but I can't remember the name, they used the impression in this then in Shaun Of The Dead

  • @DanthemanCTU24 i think it was supposed to be clyde from every which way but loose.

  • @youdiv Yeah it is, but they decided to use it after this sketch...

  • Tim... Brian?

  • yup

  • jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmm

  • I say bring back Jaaaaaaam!

  • Whenever I need cheering up, I watch Simon Peggs Monkey impression. Never fails.

  • It is a good monkey impression.

  • It saves the sketch, frankly

  • laughter tracks are soo unessasary it doesnt need it it spoils it its annoying it actually makes comedy shows less funny and feel juvinille

    i hate laughter tracks

  • i totally agree

  • i usually agree and the laughter tracks are the reason i never bothered to watch how i met your mother in the first place. but i think it works with big train.

  • Random at the end... "would anyone like to see my monkey impression" i did not see that coming

i think simons mate is better at a monkey though, nick frost his orangatagne impression in Shaun of the dead is HILLARIOUS

  • There actually is a Titz Hotel, in Titz, Germany. :D

  • I haven't seen this for years. Classic Pegg.

  • I like the reaction shots. Beautifully paced.

  • The titz guy is from Spaced (another sketchshow with simon pegg) and The posh guy is Joplin from Dead set :P

  • mark heap you mean ? he also does a walk on part in tim burtons charlie and the choclate factory! i just spotted it the other day!

  • lol simon peggs monkey impression is great is that a milk thing he bursts hahaha!

  • haha the milk thing.. I love that

  • I forgot the woman in Ashes To Ashes was in this

  • this is my fave skit haha

  • lol "would anyone like to see my monkey impression?" xD

  • so random.

    yet so brilliant.

  • What is Simon holding in his hands at 3:16 that like pops?

  • Coffee cream?

  • Oh yeah, thanks.

  • Yeah, looks like the UHT Skimmed milk thingies you put in tea/coffee

  • It is those milk things

  • ..........would anybody like to see my monkey impression?

    lol so random =D

  • fuckin' hilarious

luv simon @ the end there, that's sucha trip to see him in this vid.

  • Would have been interesting to see Simon Pegg alongside Heap/Eldon/Bulmore in Jam. Is it me or has great UK sketch-comedy completely evaporated? We are left with Russell Brand. Not good.

  • completely agree, british comedy seems to have gone downhill since about 2003. it's annoying how i can't watch this stuff unless i buy the boxsets because i was only 8 when it was on =[

  • mitchell and webb are quite good. But everything else is terrible (little Britain, catherine tate).

  • Little Britain series 1 was genius

  • little Britain is the same joke told in 20 different settings.

  • Soooooo True. You know exactly whats going to happen. "Yeah but no, but yeah but no"..& "I want that one" Cheap and repetative!

  • i luve little britian still do but they shud hav quit while they were ahead

  • how on earth did they keep a straight face haha.

  • Big Train was great!

  • T-I-T-Z !

  • its titz not tits.lol

  • I do feel for the guy because they are clearly not listening. Its titz. Not tits.

  • mark heap has to be the most underrated actor out there.

  • 100% agree. He's the finest British comedy actor out there in my opinion

  • Raedan23 I agree. Mark Heap is bloody brilliant.

  • the end is histarical

  • would anyone like to see my monkey impression???

    ROFLMAO!!!

they're the monty python of the 21st century!!!

  • isnt that Brian from Spaced?

  • yes it is Mark Heap

  • T-i-t-z

  • oh you are joking i can't believe it... the guy is a wanker

  • Lol

  • Hey, someone's been listening to the commentaries.

  • HAHAHHAHA, norsef is leet.

  • lol. can you get big train on DVD?

  • yeah i have it i got it from hmv but you can search on play or amazon for it

  • ok. thanks

  • O_o'

    I love it.

  • Would anyone like to see my monkey impression? Hahahaa!

  • That last bit does remind you of Shaun of the Dead and Ed's Clyde impression. :D

  • ye i thought that, but big train did come before shaun of the dead.

  • The bit at the end gave me breathing difficulty. I have a permenant wheeze now.

  • I laughed so much when the milk carton exploded on his face! Hahaha!

  • its a stupid premise made great by fantastic comic acting,Kevin your the man

  • I think Amelia Bullmore is pissing herself quietly at the end - Pegg and Frost are the monkey daddies.

  • haha yeh she so is, i bet thats why they cut it just there lol.

  • Would anybody like to see my monkey impression?

  • Big Train = big laughs. Classic stuff.

  • that was totally tits.

  • OOOOh Simon Pegg and Nicke Frost should have a monkey off! Which is like a dance off only they do monkey impressions!!...

  • XD Lmfao I was thinking the exact same thing!

  • would anyone like to see my monkey impression?

    Hahaha! These guys rule

  • the bolloxz

  • great name for a hotel

  • titz

  • lmafaorotfl this show is freakin hilarious and simon peg is so freakin awsomely funny i just wish a station would pick it up over here in the states mabey comedy central

  • The gymnastics competition involving Mark Heap (in a leotard) competing with little girls, had me crying - and I nearly pissed myself.

  • Anyone who likes Mark Heap should check out his appearances in the warped comedy show Jam. It's by Chris Morris and is based on a brilliant radio show made many years ago.

  • 1) I can't believe Mark Heap is the guy that plays Alan Statham on Green Wing. HE IS SO HOT HERE.

    2) I'm going to start doing the monkey impression whenever things get awkward.

  • OMFG, that was soooo legendary, man SIMON PEGG is a GOD! LMFAO, cryin with laughter. Nick Frost does that impression on SHAUN OF THE DEAD?!!!

  • "...would anyone like to see my monkey impression?"

    LMFAO!!!

  • Ha!

  • What a great ending.

  • I Worship Big Train...

I remember when i stayed up until like 2:00 AM to watch it!

  • i love this sketch so much i think its so funni

  • I like when the "monkey" cracked the egg and it shot up into his face, priceless

  • "... ours will be the biggest Titz in the world!" LMAO!

  • That is one fabulous Monkey impression

  • aw come in its genius deadpan! ace random monkey bit too. highly underrated show!

  • It's funny hear people say tits.

  • and the monkey bit is just funny!

  • Uh...yeah. Because every other gag on youtube changes every time you watch it? What are you on about?

  • Are you insane?

  • TITS. TITS.

    "it sounds like TITS"

  • hello, briiiian.

  • it's scissors bentley from green wing. ledge-end

  • LOL wtf was that at the end about??

  • Why doesn't this stuff ever get featured?

  • Oh how I love Big Train! Watch Simon when he opens the milk - I really don't think he was expecting it to explode.

  • wtf?? HILARIOUS! Sudden change there as Simon Pegg showed his monkey impression...how weird that was! But brilliant!

  • I have the DVD boxset and the first series was definitely on the BBC! Infact i'm pretty sure the 2nd series was too. And Jam and Brasseye are two top favourites of mine...Chris Morris is a legend.

  • Haha they're the best. Check out Jam and Brasseye as well which are deadly funny.

BTW Big Train wasn't a BBC production according to your description. It was Channel 4.

  • Big Train was a TalkBack production for the BBC.

  • You're right, it was on BBC2.

    My bad :(
