I just got this netbook and Ive got windows starter so i cannot watch dvds without a driver, i dont want to buy the windows upgrades unless any are under £20.00, and was wondering if there is a cheaper option ? Downloads??

i have had this netbook for around 5 months and i have had no problems with this accept, i have installed windows 7 ultimate and windows 7 enterprise, they both do not reconise that the laptop has a built in wireless adpater, web cam or the magic keys. anyone know how i can solve this or a link to download windows 7 files for this netbook thanks :)

positive: small, compact, webcam, pre-installed programs

negative: slow (program opening, lag internet-yet faster when plugged in with charger), plastic feel opening

I bought the N130 and love it, I mean it does have problems but its a netbook, My cons are it takes some time to warm up because i have win7 on it, and the 1 speaker is lame, But i mean the battery lasts forever!!!

cons: Quite hot air blows from inside even when processor is in idle mode.You have to use some force to connect USB device.Due to small gap it's inconvenient when opening the lid.

Caution n130 cam and mic doesnt often work on windows live messenger,the error...."messennger isnt avaliable at the moment.or your Camera is in use by another program,shut this down before retrying" when neither is running.you can use it fine on sype,any help please would be gratefull but i recently foune 4,782 related windows live n130 cam quiries

n150 is out idk about n150 but i had this n130 for 10 days ,some buttons gets extremly hard ,w7 cant operate various problems,on battery it cant not play any music with windowsplayer.t

Depends what power setting you use, a good way to boost battery power is to adjust the brightness using the fn & F5 keys, I get about 6hrs with menial tasks.

does anyone no how i can get my n130 on my tv, i'm using a serial from my 130 to RGB cable INTO MY TV, i can get the n130 to let me view on external device but nothing appears on my tv, i use the same cables to play xbox and it works fine.....any ideas.

I picked up a Samsung N130 on a recent trip where it was needed for document review and editing. I found a pleasant surprise, including a one year subscription to MS Office (student ed.) installed. Although specs of netbooks are similar, superior workmanship distinguishes the N130 at a low price ($299 at Best Buy). Mine came with Windows 7 Starter that boots quickly. Good review, Brian.

What a waste of a review...you just dwelt on how it looked formost of the time. How about some idea of the technical specifications such as processor speed and type, its memory and storage capacity, and some demos of how it runs common software or does typical tasks, its boot times etc. In other words, anything useful.
