i was thinking of doing ab ripper x for at least 2 months and wondered if i would see results for how long should i do ab ripper x im 15??????????????
im starting my 12th day today. i slowly am seeing results, but in no hurry. i don't find myself nauseous, but more out of breath, which is to be expected. but it's mainly due to all the smoking i used to do up until this program started. i'm so proud i went cold turkey with the smoking. prob the best improvement i have made.
I puked after my 3rd day of p90x. After my first week, I was doing P90x with ease until I failed core synergestics on my 23rd day. I had 18 mins left but my head was pounding I felt I was gonna pass out. I emailed the guys from a forum and they said it's mainly dehydration. I don't drink water during any of the workouts so I tried core synergystics last night and kept myself hydrated. Viola! No headaches and I finished the entire workout. I would suggest to keep yourself hydrated. Good Luck!~
I would definitely recommend eating no more than 1.5 hours before exercising. It makes a real difference to your workout every levels.
Glad the portions approach is working for you and so pleased you sound just as excited in this video as you did in your first. That level of excitement and determination will make 90 days fly past!
Ok, I'll try waiting an hour and a half today before Kenpo X so we'll see if that helps. Tomorrow is day 14 so I'll be taking some new photos and measurements, can't wait!
there has got to be a sound reason why you are getting ill when doing the workouts. You seem to feel cruddy nearly every workout. Lay out everything you do and see where the fault is. Maybe you are dehydrated. Maybe you eat too soon before the workout. Maybe you are taking a supplement that does not agree with you. Find that little problem and your workouts are going to go sweet. Perhaps the workouts are too much right now. Have you looked into P90 to start with?
Honestly, I think it's just because my body isn't accustomed to the length and intensity of the workouts yet. I'm drinking plenty of water and I'm waiting 45 minutes to an hour after eating to begin the workout. Not taking any supplements at the time... I'm sure things will improve, my body just needs to adjust.

Do you have a pre-workout energy snack/drink/supplement?

Nope, I'm not taking any supplements at the moment other than whey immediately post-workout.
