  • deux amours...dechire

  • you know if a meteor had hit him at that second this story wouldn't be a tragedy.

  • seriously, those dancers are just... WEIRD! I'd be freaking out if someone next to me was moving like that but I guess that's the concept of the song...

  • I don't care if Phoebus is a player, it's Patrick Fiori, he's nice and super hot ! <3

  • Awww, so beautiful!!!

  • Nice song but Phoebus in the book would never give this so much thought. He takes life the way it comes... and women too - literally in this case.

  • over and over and over i and little bit more! :)

  • This and Belle are my favorite songs :D

  • I can't find the 15th song:(((

  • @TDGrace I'm not sure, but isn't the 15th song "beau comme le soleil" ? :D

  • I can gladly say that I haven't read the book yet and do like this song... a lot xD

  • am I the only one who just LOVES the dancing in the background???

  • @saerwen1894 No! Me too!! :) It's amazing!

  • @saerwen1894 I love that he's wearing bloody blue jeans! XD

  • @KitsuneNekoTigi hahaha I had never noticed that....that's kinda funny :)

  • I like this song because it is an energetic song

  • double -crosser this is what Crosseur means.

  • I do hate and disgust adultry but I can't get angry when it's commited by Phoebus played by Patrick Fiori. Such a dilemma.

  • j'adore trop cette musique <3

  • This version is very good, I like it a lot, but I think that italian version is better than this...

  • love the dancers in the background!!!

  • i prefer him in the musical, he looks like he really love both.

in the book, he don't really love Fleur-De-Lys.

this is my song now <3<3

  • Patrick does a great job in this song but does anyone feel they don't make Phoebus bad enough in this musical? In the book he's meant to be an obvious womaniser and someone Esme should have stuck clear of but in the musical it almost looks like he's just a normal good looking guy who's having the problem of loving two women and having to decide between them.

I guess it probably expects you to have read the book so you know Phoebus is bad news but for those who havent I dont think they really

  • @braceyfaceanimegurl went into his character as well as they could have. Maybe its just me who thinks that

  • The man I love relates to that song. Gotta forget him, but I can't...

  • Ecco un bravo attore finalmente xD

  • scumbag

  • I like that dance part. Very nice. And the song is very beautiful. Bravo!

  • Patric!

    :3

  • Beautiful song and great interpretation.

    Spectacular acrobatics of the dancers.

  • his voice is like a drug for me!!!

  • i don't know why, after reading the book, i just CAN'T like any song of pheobus, he's such a... i don't have the right english word...

but in my language, in quebec, we should say, UN CROSSEUR. :O

  • @Shadowweee excuse-moi, c´est quoi un crosseur?? :) merki :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Shadowweee AHAHAHAHA c'est vrai!!!, so true

Terrible ;-) !!!

  • @Shadowweee traitor?

  • @Shadowweee a cad. a dick. a player. I get what you mean... ew

  • ho patrick tes vraiment le best !!!!!!!

  • watching the musical made me realise that phoebus was an idiot, i always had disney prince charming view in mind never read the book pffff hate him now lol

  • @cutsey654 An idiot? I'd say rather that he was a normal man: he had Fleur de Lis, who was the appropriate girl for him to marry, probably an arranged marriage too, as was common in those times. Only while appropriate, she doesn't stir his passion, she doesn't touch his soul. And then he meets Esmeralda. Not that Esmeralda is the temptress - she's a naive child, but at least she's capable of passion, and she loves him. I'm not sure Fleur de Lis really loves him, rather than regards him as hers.

  • Johnny Depp once said: "If you love two people at the same time, choose the second one, because if you really loved the first one you wouldn't have fallen for the second." That's kinda true, i guess.

  • @123Shankar123 Wow, what an interesting way to see things... I didn't know he said that, and I LOVE Johnny Depp ^^ What about choosing a third person? XD (Just kidding)

  • @LadyQGinny Lol, in the end, he loved none of them. That's why he fell in love with another girl and didn't even save her when she was about to be executed. The only one he loved was himself. And that's just the truth.

Johny Depp hit it on the mark. But well, if you really love two people - you don't love at all - thats my opinion. And it doesn't matter, if you choose the first or the second. In fact, you (or the others) are better off alone. Haha.

  • @123Shankar123 no not true at all ... you may try to escape a previous love by falling in love again , but in fact you don't fall in love again , it's a simple delusion , and the first love remains unforgettable

  • ouaou!!! it's true he is right.

  • @123Shankar123 In Phoebus' case it wasn't love, were the hormones

  • Ahahaha 'But I'm not complaining.'

    Sounds about right.

  • fantastic.

  • Even though I hate the character of Phoebus, I love this song. Patrick Fiori is fantastic.

  • He's a whore.

  • I love Patrick's voice. He's the best Phoebus, which I've ever seen.

  • EEEEKKK!!! My favorite song in the whole movie out of 53 songs :D HES SO AMAZINGGG.

  • I think rather than seeing two bodybuilders kickboxing/breakdancing in the background, I would have liked to see two pairs of dancers: one representing Phoebus and Fleur-de-Lys dancing in a sweet manner, and the other representing he and Esmeralda dancing somewhat more similarly to the style during Le Val D'amour. Oh who cares, this is a great show.

  • @sailorknightwing FUUUUUU-UUUU-CCCKKKK you

  • @DviRaciai Feel better now?

  • @DviRaciai F........K YOU

  • @sailorknightwing i totally agree

  • Does anyone know if there is someplace where you can buy a dvd of the full musical?? Because I love this performance, and I don't want to have to go through all of the youtube videos and try and watch them in order....

  • @the1andonlyJadalyn You can, ahem, "acquire" it pretty easily by Google searching for a download.

Rhh.. Mauvais homme.

  • the two timing Phoebus :O wonderous voice mind you :)

  • Patrick Fiori is sooooooo talented and wonderful... DECHIRE!!!!

This version is the best, I prefer it to all the others. Especially the song "Belle" with Garou and his friends.

  • I HATE YOU!!!

Poor Esmeralda died beacuse of love that she felt to you!!!

  • @TheMonrose18 and I hate you for the spoiler :P

  • @TheMonrose18 Spoiler Alert?

  • Why haven't I brought this album already?? Jeez, I always forget how amazing this music is then I come back and listen and am just blown away.

  • a great voice

  • It's something about him that makes me shiver, maybe the look. I don't know. Patric is very handsome man. To tell the truth I like bad guys.

    I love this musical!

  • @stepyniezmierzone I know what you mean. I think he has a lot of my passion, feels emotions strongly and totally got under the skin of Phoebus' character. He's extremely talented. I'm going to see him sing live at the end of this month, so excited!!!!!!!!!

  • @OniDana ;)

  • I felt that while the choreography was great ....It really wasn't needed in this song.

  • love Patric :-)

  • I cannot stand Pheobus!!! Yuck!! But I do like this song! :)

  • +1

  • Phoebus is such a jackass

  • [iminent rb=anim]putiin jaime trop sa vOiix !!![/rb]

  • Phoebus is pretty much the younger, more charismatic version of Frollo. Both men were only after Esmeralda's body rather than her heart. Poor girl. Of course, she was no better. She overlooked the quiet beauty of Gringoire (even though he's significantly older in the book), she loathed Frollo (can't say I blame her, though I do pity the man), and feared Quasi. She preferred Phoebus only because he was attractive. Stupid girl...

  • @TrapilaGoldsap well, I would not say that she was stupid but rather naive. She fell in love with Phoebus because he was that handsome soldier that save her from the disgusting "beast" that wanted to abducted her. By beast I mean, Quasimodo. Gringoire did not like her, he loved his profession, which was theater and poesie. In the book, he actually lead Esmeralda to Frollo so he could save her very intelligent goat. Quasimodo was the only one who truly loved her.

  • @TrapilaGoldsap I feel bad she feared Quasimodo, because he had a quiet beauty - it was not his fault that he was ugly and deaf. :(

  • @TrapilaGoldsap I don't think she was stupid so much as naive and ignorant.

  • @TrapilaGoldsap In the book she loved Pheobus because he'd saved her from Quasimodo kidnapping her, hence her fear of Quasimodo. While Pheobus rescued her, Gringoire was cowering away. After their "marriage," Gringoire asks her why she could never love him and she tells him she could never love a man who couldn't protect her. It has more to do with her safety than looks.

  • @TrapilaGoldsap Very true. Only Quasimodo actually liked her for her heart, and not for body. Poor Quasimodo was feared by the girl of his dreams, because of his looks.

  • @TrapilaGoldsap this is a wonderful story and musical..but when you look at it like this, technically, it's so full of superficiality -__-

  • @TrapilaGoldsap I read the book about six years ago, but didn't Frollo want her to run away with him and live together on a quaint little mountain?

  • @ydimkthis Yes, he wanted to take her to a sunny place and take her out of Sundays and walk together.

  • @TrapilaGoldsap I disagree. Ifind that Esmerelda's beauty bay have first caught his attention but it was what's inside that really got him. The problem is that Esmeralda was unsure of who to love and went for Phoebus simply becasue the bard and priest couldn't love her and Quasimodo scared her a little, which sent her into the arms of an unfaithful man who she knew would protect her; no matter her intentions. I also think that if Gringoire had given her the chance she would have fallen for him..

  • świetne <3

  • he is not complaining at all, happy with that.

  • what is he complaining about -.- some people just got too much as they deserve- look at poor Quasimodo- no body is loving him, he would never be able to say something like this. I think Phebus' role and particulary this song is the contrast to Quasi's situation - to make the story even more dramatic. Therefore It's kind of ridiculos to let Phebus seem pittiful. However I realy like the cheography :)

  • @AtrumReginaX hahahah

  • Phoebus! You are magnificent!!

  • @dah110 I don't know... I never thought Phoebus needs much charisma... he just acts on impulse/lust... it's not even difficult for him to leave Esmeralda.

I'm quite happy with Fiori's performance.

  • <3 Magnifique :O

  • Cette voix mon dieu ... <3

He sings beautifully, but he is not as nice as should be Phoebe))

    I love this music!

  • 2:16

  • @Malon4Ever Oui dans le livre c'est un salop MDR Je suis d'accord de bon danseur ( ;

  • Hot damn naked guys : D I love it.

  • ChocolatMania ça s'appelle une chorégraphie

  • Hum...

  • My French teacher found this song quite funny as well.

  • he even confesses himself that he's a man whore tsk tsk tsk
