Well, I saw Spectrum playing live last weekend at ATP Night Before Christmas (curated by MBV) and these guys stole the show completely despite a horrible light scheme. But Suicide was the closing track and I can tell you the drummer, a calm and cool chubby guy, was nothing short of amazing, They also played Revolution and I nearly got my brain bleeding. With How You Satisfy Me I reached paradise. I am not lying when I say they nearly stole the show even from MBV.
@hannasdeli I met Sonic Boom after that show lol. He was fucked and offered me and my mate some of his Burger King. We declined. I tried to ask him about music and guitars. He looked confused and annoyed and his wife lead him away with his Burger King. Surprisingly I definately wasnt dissapointed by this meeting of one of my musical heroes excellent show. A Place To Bury Strangers destroyed almost everyone at ATP tho...
don't remember his name but I believe he was the original drummer for Spiritualized(before Jason canned the rest of the band) and I think even the drummer in the Breeder's "safari" video.
As much as I love the droney guitar and keys of this song, its the varying rhythms that the drums produce that keep you interested. Sadly, the drummers since this that come under Sonic's disposal don't hold a match to this performance. Usually I can't wait for them to end the song, and sometimes by the look on their faces(and mistakes) they can't either!
Put this on your fucking X Factor

Woaah, 22 minutes of dark, brutal, merciless drone! Numbing, but in a good way. Pretty psychedelic.
