I have a question. Jacob/Alice isn't an AU couple, am I right, because AU (alternate universe) means just that they're not vampires and that they have no special powers, like reality is.

I would call it an crack couple, 'cause crack couple means that it's rather unrealistic. Sorry if I'm wrong, I just learned it this way.

haha, this is the person who they were thinking of recasting Taylor Lautner for. They thought Taylor looked to youg to play the part, but in the end they decided against it and obviously its Taylor in New Moon. :) Thre were more clips of Steven Straight tan Taylor Lautner so thats probably the reason why she used him instead, there's lots of vids where he's used. :)
