Nicky Addeo is an unsung hero of American popular song. The quality and impact of his voice is unrivaled by most so called "vocal stars". It's a pity that most record company execs are only interested in return on investment ...and not in pure artistry. Mr Addeo is a consummate artist indeed deserving wider recognition. Listening to him harkens me back to Friday nights in Long Branch, NJ at the old Port-o-call in the mid 60s...easier times.....great memories.
I think Nicky is the best singer going, is there anyway you can post a lot more of his songs to get him more recognition on facebook, it doesn't have to be a live performance, just the song, he has so many beauties out there and I am sure people would fall in love with him. Thanks so much.
@sleepytimegalz ....Hi Phyliss...Nicky sang with many groups, his group is The Nite Owls....he hails from Jersey, grew up with and still is best friends with Danny DiVito of Taxi fame....Nicky is 1 hellva singer as you can hear by this live performance of an extremely difficult song "My Hero"...Nicky can outsing most singers, its a crime he never got a real shot by the record companies...."So Blue" is my favorite by him, unfortunately not on utube

This song by Nicky, I think is the best of any group. The Bass fills in perfect and meldswith Nicks voice. Beautiful sound!
