Cannon Fodder? Recalling history, Those that went through Montford Point were instrumental at some part in the Battle of Iwo Jima...though I would be biased to say that few were 'thrown to the wolves.'

I graduated from Marine Boot Camp in 1987, and started my MOS Training at Camp Johnson...which is part of MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. Montford Point is yards away from the barracks where I stayed. I trained at a place where part of African-American History made a mark on the world.

Anyways, not sure what you've done lately but since we were on the subject of the taliban and how well they're doing we (my unit) took down three guerilla forces this deployment without losing a man. The last two we lost three men. So, 100+ taliban to 3 Marines? hmm doesn't look like they're doin so good...

@ben7134 I'm not sure what the procedure through Immigration and customs is, but the Immigration act of the United States and the UCMJ (uniform Code of Military Justice) Both state that if a person wants to become a US Citizen, he or she can serve a term in the US Armed Forces. @Darusdei You don't get paid if you don't capitalize Marine when you type. Hahaha Just fucking. E-3 I think is like 1700 a month E-4 is 1800, E-5 2000 E-6 2200 and E-7 2600. You can go to google and type in Marine Corps Pay grades and it'll give it to you. The pay isnt always good, but the Corps gets you by.
