  • yea this looks like if you make a mistake then its not something easy to fix

  • What's the obsession with all these shields and covers especially on Ipods?

By the time any sort of wear and tear shows up on these things, you'll want to get a new updated model anyway...

  • where can u find some for ipod touch?

  • go to their website then you can order them online

  • Any 1 know what he is spraying on there?

  • its a thing that stops it sticky straight away incase u make a mistake

  • its for you dont get finger prints on there

  • its just water

  • Not quite, it's a fast drying liquid. I wouldn't recommend using water instead of the liquid that comes with the shield.

  • its like watching paint drie lol

  • with an eerie sence of calm lol

  • I just put it on my nano 4g... God Its such a long and tedious process. The main problem is that the layers don't fit perfectly so they overlay each other. I'm like so pissed right now and really hoping that i didn't just waste 25 buck.

  • im gonna say that u probably did waste 25 bucks... ive seen full body shields for 4g nanos and they dont overlay they fit perfectly and cover the whole nano...

  • umm your suppose to wipe the ipod when doing this and put the spray no your fingers and stuff and if you have air buble its either a- you put not enough solution or b- you did not notice the air bubbles at first then allready let it dry

  • can i pay you to put on the invisible shield on my google g1?

  • what if u get air buble???

  • Thats What The Squeegie is for

  • to get rid of bubbles

  • Man this guy has steady hands. When I try to do anything that tiny my hands fly all over the place :(

  • the pod: 150; the shield: 25; what's the point?

  • for protection maybe?

  • iPod Classic $250 big deal

  • how much it cost ?

  • how the hell did you do it in under ten minutes? i have the exact same ipod and it took me two hours to do it. and yours looks better than mine does. mine has a piece of dust under it and so many micro bubbles and a little unaligned.

  • nope, you cant see it hence the "Invisible shield" lol

  • is the track pad just as smooth with the shield on it? cause it says that that shield gives more grip...so please tell me..

  • no, its not as smooth as it is without the shield on the click wheel. however it is still useable but for me, it made mine a little less sensitive but it doesn't bother me too much.

  • can u tell that a shield is appleied?

  • yes, you can tell by the more reflective surface.

  • so the screen will look better without it correct? im gonna be using it for n95

  • It depends. The screen only looks noticeably more reflective when it's off, you will barely notice it when it's on. You can see it for yourself in one of my other videos about the playback quality with the invisible shield.

  • this is just against scratches. no other protection whatsoever. if u drop ur ipod sorry. thats why i prefer a dermashot silicone protection for my ipod.

  • I'd buy the screen-only kit and *then* put it in a rubber skin. Best of both worlds. ^__^

  • does this come off ???after or what, does it leave a glue film ?/?

  • how much is this and where do i buy this, message me back anybody pleeease

  • i just put my invisible shield on, and it has some bubbles on it i squeeged though do you think those bubbles will go away when it dries???

  • It's normal to have a few small bubbles in. Unless they are big bubbles, they should disappear within 3 days.

  • can u tell that a sheild is applied to the screen or is it unnoticable?

  • its gas permeable. it doesn't need to be perfect application. it will get better looking over the next week as moisture/air escapes. do not try to force any bubbles left out once you've left it for a couple minutes. you'll only stretch the plastic.

  • its unscratchable so...

  • The process of trying to place it on the right spot seems strenuous.

  • i think my classic came with it on the screen only though

i bought it in december does anyone know if that is true?

    cuz if it is

    invis shield is amazing

  • I just got mine for the classic. it is really invisible and if you do it right, it does not affect screen quality at all! MUST BUY!!!

    WAY better than bulky cases.

  • its esp good for smaller flash players. adding bulk to their slim form seems kind of self defeating. just protect the screen, the rest really doesn't need protection. if you are cheap the bestskinsever do it yourself sheet is a good option for just the screen.

  • does it reduce the psp screen's brightness or does it live up to its name??

  • It lives upto its name, i have it , its a must BUY

  • How do you avoid getting lint in between the shield and the ipod? Even after removing it with a lint-free cloth?

  • how long does it take to dry?

  • you must leave it off for at least 24 hours because if you don't you risk the chance of ruining the electronics in your ipod for good.

  • They really reccomend that you leave it on and let it dry overnight. That makes sense, because the liquid takes time to dry, and usually within 48 hours, all of the bubbles disappear.

I let mine dry on my touch about 2hrs before I had to leave for school, it worked just fine. My bubbles were gone the next day =D They're really worth it.

  • won't some of the solution seep though the click wheel area? i am worried about that.

  • There's not enough to do anything. Just let it dry for a few hours before using it again.

It's not like you're dumping your ipod into water

  • Nice video, but why are you spraying the solution on both sides of the shield? It only needs to be sprayed on the adhesive side.

Also, does the 'orange peel' effect disappear over time on the screen?

  • if its sprayed on both sides its easier to push the air bubbles out that get stuck after youput it on

  • do u recommend me gettin this for my iphone??

  • i do

  • soo whats this supposed to do keep it from scratching...i saw how strong it could be but if 1000 lbs drop on to the ipod it will break...i dont get how this can protect it from falls

  • InvisibleShield is designed to protect the iPod surface seamlessly from scratches - your first round of protection. Some may use it in conjunction with a super-light carrying case for outside. But not even a plastic or rubber case will assure an iPod's safety from a bad drop, or in sports settings; Evaluate your own use to determine which combination of protection is appropriate for your use.

I kept my 3g iPod in perfect condition, so I could later get top price on eBay.

  • if you have a video or classic, they are hard drive based and it is impossible to protect the hard drive from breaking from a bad drop.

  • the invisibleshield isn't collision protection...if i know i'm gonna be in a place where my ipod touch is gonna be at risk for dropping, i put a case on for just that time

  • Very nice real-time demo, with readjustment and bubble correction. Excellent - and mandatory for first-timers.

  • i have a question

if u already have scratches on the Ipod video

will the shield cover up some scratches on the screen

  • The shield will generally cover up the scratches but it of course will depend on how bad the scratches are.

  • do they have a shield for the back part?

  • yea

  • i have a question, i just bought the invisible shield for my 30gb ipod, and i noticed some imperfections, can i remove the shield and then use it again?

  • chances are if it was on for more than a day, you probably won't be able to use it again...i tried it once before and it wasn't pretty

  • invisibleshield has all of their products 50% off for a limited time... check out the website yourself.

  • Check the website on a regular basis. "Specials" appear and stop almost on a daily basis, without warning.

  • i thought my cell phone was making the noise, lol!

  • Is it as difficult as it looks to apply?

  • this guy did take more care than most, but yea, for the most part it does take some effort, but its really worth it

  • it's good to see someone put the back on for once and also it doesnt look like a video from someone trying to sell it to me and so i think im going to buy it now, thanks!

  • yea i have one on my ipod video and the thing is definitely worth the time...i've tried a whole bunch of cases but i hate the way they don't show how the ipod looks, and i LOVE the ipod design...i've tried to scratch the thing and it just won't scratch...i'm upgrading to an 80 gig classic and i'm not even opening the box until my invisibleshield is delivered.

  • omg just put it on already!

  • Trust me, the extra time is well worth it. I made the mistake of rushing it once.

  • i have one its so worth it

  • I was thinking of getting one of thoses Invisible shield for my ipod today, and i think i might

  • Does it make the video quality less?

  • no.

  • what was that you were spraying on the plastic and were do you get thos

  • it comes with it

  • and what is it?

  • you're so patient. and it looks really nice, and it's really invisible.

  • they usually go around for like $20. its a pain in the ass to put on but the end result is soo worth it

  • it would be a good idea to put this on

then but an iskin evo3 on

that way, u wont get it all fingerprinty when you take it out

and the iskin evo3 is probably the best ipod skin on the market

  • if u buy a rubber for ur ipod DO NOT buy a "body glove" cause they r cheap and i bought one and it scratched mine

  • About how much do they cost and where can I purchase one?

  • yeah but who in their right mind wants to take that much time for such a minimal amount of protection, word of advice.......... don't play hopscotch with your ipod they cost a lot of money, not even worth it really.

  • i bought mine today.. do you have any scratches yet?

  • it looks nice

  • How much was the invisible shield?

  • The invisible shield costs around USD25

  • i think i'm going to get an ipod video with my name ingraved on the back of it...so do you think i could still put the body invisible shield on?

  • yeah i have an engraving on mine and it's visible...even when i removed the shield (i applied it incorrectly) the engraving was still there

  • wah do u think is better that or a simple rubber case? cuz im thinking of buying a protector

  • well.. this isnt for the same purpose as a rubber case. This will prevent scratches. A rubber case will prevent damage done by dropping it. If your iPod fell outta your pocket, this wouldnt protect it at all. A rubber one would.

  • how long does this actually stay on?

  • I've had one on my iPod since August 2006 and it's still going strong.

  • over 9,241 views and im the first too commet. nice vid.
