Stand on the 2nd platform to the shop. Angle yourself so your looking at where Mido should be. Sidehop then jumpslash. After you hit it with a jumpslash, tilt your control stick NW, just enough to put pressure on it. An ESS should start. It kinda clear from there.

Grab the Gear, Leave Kokori, Glitch through the Time door,

Grab the bow, Light arrows somehow? Glitch through the Gannon's tower door, Waste that green man. And Presto?

nonono, it works completely different

we use a trick to hack the quiver, zelda's lullaby, the spirit and the shadow medaillon in our inventory.

the shadow and spirit medaillon are the trigger for light arrow cutscene with zelda, so we get the light arrow and can go to ganon's castle by using the bridge, that appears, if you have the light arrow

before that, we get magic and buy some arrows and then we kick the ass of this ganon bitch

you can't rba the light arrow itself. you can only obtain the light arrow early by RBAing the medaillons and activate the light arrow cutscene, which we have to watch to get the item ;)

@MrGrunz Ah I see, I just remembered mucking around with RBA a while ago, but thinking back I got the light arrow on the B-Button not creating it in the inventory.. very different thing there! The current method seems like the best way then :)

There is a video of this doing a boundary passthrough at an angle then jump attacking past the door. Look it up. I was pretty baffled that there was a way past the door without using cheats like insane run speed or hold Y to jump and whatnot.

Hey, I can't get link to talk to the guard even when he's in the right position. I ESS out of the water, swerve link to the right side of the guard, and turn him so that his back is facing the guard (ESS is still going). Is there something I could be doing wrong?

you have to hold a little bit to the left or right, while link gets boosted through the water. then, when link comes out of the water, press Z and keep holding the analog stick a bit to the left or right ;)
