forget barmix... use fresh lemon juice, fresh egg white and sugar syrup and then shake for your life. you will get the nicest drink in the world!

What you did wrong:

1) Never shake a soda - goes flat

2) You're using lime cordial, not bar mix - this is not a proper sub

3) Confectioner's sugar cannot be subbed with 7-up

4) Shake with the glass away from you

5) 1 oz is pretty skimpy on the Amaretto. If you're going thru the effort of rimming, use at least 1 1/4 oz

Overall, you should NOT be teaching people to make drinks.

not much of a commentor' ...but, this has to be one of the worst groups of how to videos ever; mojo is "shaking sodas", not shaking long enough to "frost the tin", leaving out ingredients, adding ingredients that are uncalled for, not straining out the ice when required, does not know the difference between limes and lemons, uses the wrong garnishes, wrong glass ware, uses a slow stink bug style, and is using teathered bottles w/ mechanical poor spouts in a how to video...  cheeeeeezzzzzyyyy!
