  • LARRY KNECHTHAL played piano on "Glory, Glory". He was a session guy who was listed as a member of Bread at the time (1971) and may or may not have played on "Tambourine Man" 45, depending on who you ask.

  • One of my favorite incarnations of the Byrds, one of my fave Byrds' L.P.'s, (Regardless of personnel) Face it, these people involved were talented, beyond all recognition and reception! R. I. P. Clarence White! Now let's rejoice, Gospel Rock ON

  • I think the bass line is what really drives this song. It's all good but the bass line rocks....

  • @kjam22 Yes the bass was happening, also the guitars and drums, but for me the piano is doing both the heavy lifting and resultant carrying! Regardless, this is just a great gospel rock number! God bless Jim/Roger Mc Guinn and whoever the rest of The Byrds are! Praise The Lord!

  • The later Byrds had a talent of making dull songs sound good.

  • Hey help me out here, please! Who in the world was pounding the 88's on this smokin' puppy, and really was Gene Parsons not a GREAt drummer in his prime?!?! What a great band! Thanks realpocobyrds for the upload, and as always You Tube Thanks for leaving the light on the space for a most righteous gospel tune! Long live Jim/Roger Mc Guinn and Clarence White R.I.P. Byrdmaniax ROCKS!!!!!!
