Incredible Salmon fishing video! You guys are so lucky to live in Oregon. Fantastic! Bart's fish was probably good eatin' but it looks like Big Strapper's was larger. Awesome Awesome video!
Just a thought though... All Chinooks are "native"; there are just wild and hatchery fish. I know you know that, but it can easily be confusing to other people watching that don't know the rules around here. "Wtf, how are some fish natives and others non native??"
@SHOOTERNW Definitely does, gives me a good starting point. I fished a little salmon last fall but was unsuccessful. Caught some trout on the side. Thanks for the info.
another kick ass video you and big fish bart are kicking those salmons ass your freezer should be stocked up for the winter keep the great outdoor videos coming i will be watching how many fish do you have so far ? and what do you do with all that fish? have a great rest of the spring salmon season talk to ya soon

Where on the Willamette do you primarily fish. We've probably drifted by each other and not even realized it.

What are you using? I'm from Colorado but now live in Wa, so not much experience with salmon. Great video.

Nice catch, I use to fish the Rouge years ago, but I never hooked a salmon. A good Thing too. I wouldn't know how to identify a native.
