  • He's got IT!!!!

  • I LOVE this! Heard it first time on Margaritaville radio, it rocks! My kind of music!

  • He's your cousin, wow. I feel like a surrogate aunt or such to him. I just want to do all I can to build his success. I urge my family and friends to get on the Paul Thorn bandwagon. His music is an important part of my experience. He lifts up, rouses, and consoles.

  • Never had heard of Paul till we saw him a month ago in Colorado. Whoa. What a great show, went out and bought all this stuff. Terrific songwriter and not a bad singer; and what a band!

    Very cool.

  • shouting like a dang idiot to start a song is never a good idea.

  • Mission Temple Fireworks Stand" (Billy Maddox, Paul Thorn)

Check on internet written by paul thorn ......the man.

  • Sawyer Brown is better, this great just like SB better.

  • I have been shooting fireworks shows for 12 years. We did a show last night and the band played this song as an intro. BEST INTRO EVER!

    PYRO PRODUCTIONS

    ADAMSVILLE, ALABAMA

  • I just watched Sawyer Brown's version. It's good and Robert Randolph was awesome. But I like Paul Thorn's version the best! SB's version is more country and this is more bluesy and it sounds more natural, like it's coming out of their pores!!!! More my style.

  • Sorry. I just watched sawyer browns version. Yes, it's very good, but Paul Thorn's is much better. Sorry bout that.

  • i love paul thorn!!!

  • I just recently saw this man perform at the King Biscuit Blues show in Helena, AR.-he is GREAT, he had 30,000 people rolling in their seats, what a performer, if he doesn't make it to the Top in the near future: there's got to be something wrong with the music promoters here in America..

  • He is one of our favorites. We have seen him a few times and he is a great storyteller and musician. His newest Cd is called "Pimps and Preachers" because his Dad is a preacher and his uncle is a pimp!

  • This is 1 of our favorites storyteller musicians. We have seen him a few times.

His newest Cd is "Pimps and Preachers" because his Dad was a preacher and his uncle was a pimp.

    Enjoy!

  • Bill Hinds teaches at my county's middle school! GREAT GUY!

  • @Alphastyx7 Possibly 1 of the very best to play the slide?

He is awesome...Duane Allman..I know a little about

    slide play...Bill is the man...

  • My brother turned me on to Paul; dig his music.

  • I heard this on the radio this AM. Got me rocking'!!

  • It's been a hell of a long time since I heard ANYONE that could sing a song like this man, Real music.

    Rock on Paul.

  • ma mom know this guy she used to skydive with him

  • I've seen Paul 4 times in Ohio. He's a don't miss for me. Great writing, great performance, great rapport with the audience.

  • Saw him Saturday night in Luckenbach, TX and last summer opening for Bonnie Raitt in Austin. I am addicted too. I'll see him every chance I get from now on.......INCREDIBLE artist!!!

  • and when with a band, he surrounds himself with pure excellence. anyone who likes paul will love him after a show

  • never ever pass up a chance to see this man perform, solo or full band. one of the best times ever. and one of the most honest and genuinely nice people you could ever hope to meet. preach on brother paul!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wish he could over to Europe sometime so i could finally see him LIVE!!!!!

  • I don't know, maybe his ol' lady won't let him, but he ought to get 2 backup babes with that band he's got and he'll be the next Lynyrd Skynyrd.

  • Warning...Paul Thorn music may become

    addictive..

  • @jblcva

  • Respond to this video... Totally agree. Paul Thorn is so amazing be it upbeat numbers or the more poignant. I would move south to be able to see him live more often if it were practical.

  • what's the song he does about how he might as well stay married since he didn't get laid when he was single???

  • I couldnt get laid when i was single so

i might as well stay married...Thats the

name of the song...Actually he does this

song on a free live show on his web site.

Its a podcast or something like that. You

can get 3 free shows from his web site.

  • wow! Great song! 10stras!

  • finally found it lol every few days going to school listening to Rick and Bubba on the radio i hear this and it gets stuck in my head and now i know the name of the song woot!

  • saw paul thorn last year at jamboree in the hills and have been completely blown away and obsessed since. Paul Thorn would be proud since he sang to me I aint livin in sin no more...since we took our wedding vowels who are the neighbors gonna talk about now!!!

  • Oh, you're fortunate to have heard

Paul Thorn in concert! He's just amazing.

    Oh, the neighbors.... ha ha

Just give 'em a big smile!!!

Start playing some Paul Thorn in your car so the neighbors can hear. LOL

  • Oh, mercy!!!!!!!!!!!

    LOVE THIS.'

    Paul Thorn is incredible.

    EXCELLENT

  • Last year The Paul Thorn Band came to Barnesville, Georgia to play for Gordon College. They played the auditorium there which has state of the art acoustics. There were about 300 peple there. The college did a lousy job of promoting it. They rocked the house down. Midway throug the concert a thunderstorm knocked out power to the stage. Paul immediately grabbed an acoustic guitar and came down front and sat atop the orhcestra pit wall. He took requests. It was thrilling. Best concert ever.

  • i know their lead gutarist!!! He's a great teacher. In two ways: guiatar. And at school!!

  • awesome awesomE AWESOME!!!!!!!!

  • While these cats are certainly trying to 'earn a livin'...the truth is...they do this shit for the music, the crowd...and the message. Been a sucker for the arts all my life..!! lol. PT band are the shit live...

  • Wow! Paul Thorn is one the most talented musicians I have ever seen, if you like this song, get the CD, there is not a bad song on this CD, when I first got it I played it in my car for weeks. If he comes within 200 miles of you and you love great music, you must go see him. I agree that he needs more

exposure, I have told all of my Friends about him, but he needs more recognition.

  • I think this guy is very talented along with his great band. I agree with BABAMARV he needs to get fixed up with a well known label because he is a very good songwriter as well as a musician. I hope I am fortunate enough to be able to see him perform live. He has a great stage performance!

  • paul thorn rocks , love when did you stop loving me.

  • Only thing wrong with this great tune is it is going to be the same as 2000 years ago, along with it right now being just like 200 years ago here in America.

  • what?????????????

  • Any Idea where this was recorded at... room is too big to the New Daisy .... ??

  • Oh man I love this guy!

  • Paul Thorn rocks my face off!

  • What I don't understand is how a man & band so talented as these guys can have so many fans and get great gigs on national TV, but the records aren't making the charts. I assume it's only because they aren't distributed by a major label, so I hope they work out a deal that Paul can live with so they can get better promotion of his music as he should be as popular as anybody on the radio right now and be selling millions of CDs & downloads. Bill Hinds is an incredible guitarist also.

  • If you can listen to this and stay in your chair...you're dead!

  • awesome

  • Paul Rulez! Need More Paul!!!!!

  • i love this song, it's one of my favorites to swing to

  • paul thorn is a REAL talent! gotta like some one that you can laugh and cry with....

  • awesome performance!! Paul is my cousin, and for those of you who say that Sawyer Brown wrote it, You're completely wrong. Paul doesn't copy other people, other people copy Paul.

  • i think it is so awesome that with SB covering it...that it got played on CMT therefore (i would assume) making it a huge hit for your cousin. not saying Sawyer Brown did him a major favor but i just think that with SB having access to probably what could be a different crowd than what Paul probably has/had that Paul's ministry probably took off even more because of what God did in that instant.

  • @galatians110 I think that is is really cool that this guy wrote the song but doing a cover of a good song isn't copying it, it's complimenting the writer. Sawyer Brown and Robert Randolph didn't "copy" anyone.

  • great song.... love this guy,i'm looking for heart with four wheel drive done by paul,if anyone has it please post it.....

  • hell yeah.

  • Its GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Paul Thorn!!!

  • I first ran across Paul Thorn on Itunes and loved his music. Now that I have seen him on YouTube I just have to catch a live show..WOW!!

  • Always my favorite. Paul, you rock, man. Hope to catch in B'ham in October!

  • Sawyer Brown and most other country bands are great performers regardless if they wrote the songs or not!

  • More Paul Thorn vids please!

  • Paul Thorn is AWESOME! I saw him on the RICK and Bubba show....

  • I Love this song!!!!

Sawyer Brown has Paul Thorn's permission to do this song.

Paul Thorn and Billy Maddox wrote it.

    I prefer Paul Thorn's rendition.

  • Sawyer Brown is doing this song but Paul Thorn and Billy Maddox wrote it.

I personally like Paul Thorn's rendition better.

  • thig guy is great...really funny on the bob and tom show

  • Paul you must perform at Merlefest In Wilkesboro N.C. You are AMERICANA

  • CLASS ACT!!

  • If you have never seen PT live, make a point of doing so. It is the best of all possible live music shows. A great time on so many levels.

  • My son and I saw PT open for Huey Lewis and The News, two years ago in Cleveland, OH. I've been "hooked" ever since. He's a genius!

  • amen!!!!

  • I am just finding Thorn for the first time. Can I get an AMEN?! He is amazing!
