according to my dad it was a "corporate" band meaning anyone who had a problem with the band or the way it was run was replaced all for the sake of the company making money

That is totally incorrect. Tony Mills is most def a real person! He left SHY for a while and Wardi (another excellent vocalist) stepped up for the album Welcome To The Madhouse. Tony is back with the band now but also sings with TNT & has many other brilliant musical collaborations on his cv. Check out China Blue or Siam or The Andersson Mills Project for proof of the Tony Mills magic.

If you pay attention, but your ears must be trained for this, you will notice that the voice remains the same for every Shy recording (I have all their CDs).

I cannot believe I'm reading trash such as this; people acting like know-it-alls, spreading factually inaccurate information about great bands! Once I've even met a guy who tried to convince me that Tony Harnell from TNT was three different people, depending on the record!

SHY always were & still are top quality Melodic Rock - Nearly 30 yrs & still creating superlative music. Tony Mills is so talented - I like his work with TNT on The New Territory & Atlantis but check out SHY albums Unfinished Business & Sunset and Vine which are IMO the best showcase of his truly legendary vocal ability.

I think Tony Mills is a good fit for TNT and his voice was not the problem. I think it was Ronni Le Tekro's experimental songwriting that killed "The New Territory." I hope Shy carries on w/a new singer, though it will not be Wardi as I asked him recently. BTW, anyone know the name of the model in this video?
