@johnkarol95 Yes, the Promise Ending is only available in the Xbox version, I have the PS2 ending so I only get the canon one

Hmmm after watching you play nightmare mode, i feel like doing so myself. I've completed both the normal and hard modes onces. Never played Easy or lower before. (if there is)

@peachmonkeys Are you staying in camera mode? He recovers faster if you leave camera mode to run around. If you're too far away from him, he sicks his skulls at you, so staying in one spot and being keen on his shutter chance and when he gets too close, is his FF. I kept dying because I forgot when his FF was and shot early, so hopefully after trying and trying, you'll eventually get it.

Thank you for posting this! Ive had so much trouble on fighting Sae! Kusabi is easy, Sae makes me rip out my hair! Everytime i start the fight, she justs grabs me before i have a chance to run away.

The Kusabi will be MUCH easier if you don't snap before the fatal frame moment, and if you learn how to quickturn :P

IMO, reika's harder because not only does she have a one hit kill hit. THe screen is dark, you run half as fast, and when it's not dark, she's like zooming at you at like 90mph or walking slowly in front of you and shoooting fireballs and the kusabi at you.

Lol, Kusabi regenerates if you run around too much. The best way to beat him is to stand in the circle symbol and just stay in camera mode and swing around without moving Mio's feet. This way he wont regenerate and you can find him easier.

How do you know if you're going to fight Sae ahead of time? Or do you know?

Do you have to be on a certain mode to fight Sae?

Here's my reply to your other comment about Sae.

You only get to fight her on Hard and Nightmare/Fatal mode because on Normal Mode, it's not possible for the ending you get with it.

Beating Sae gives you a different 'unofficial' ending and I'm sure there are a lot more alternate endings on the Xbox version.

When you do face her: it starts after you approach Mayu and the cutscene plays where she says "shall we begin?". You bring your camera up and aim at her while walking towards her.

At this point, she'll walk towards you and try to lunge you. If she gets you, you die and have to start ALL over with going through the tunnel and fighting Kusabi. You have to take her Fatal Frame moment, which is very short. When you do, it'll start her battle.

What I do I use sucky film on the way down on the morners then when i gotta fght him i use type zero film, and my first shot is always with the "Zero" Power up it does even more the normal.

Going for my second playthrough, I've forgotten EVERYTHING.

Do you have any idea roughly how much health the Kusabi has?

I don't want to get trapped with certain film or lens if I don't have time to get it reloaded :x

Which mode are you playing on? If normal/easy mode, using type 90 will do more than enough damage (plus reloads the fastest) I've never used type zero film ever, even during nightmare mode so I'm not sure about that one. For the harder modes, stick to type 61 and up.

Kusabi's health is stronger depending on how hard the mode is, as you can see on Nightmare, using type 90 took 1/4 off with a zero shot, fatal frame combos take off more with the use of the crush lens (get on hard mode-the red one)

The blue lens (forgot the name) are better than the blast lens which do extra damage, I have all three equiped. Kusabi regains health no matter what, so you have to aim to building enough power to shoot off the lens at him, if you get a fatal frame, then you're lucky, just time it right to shoot off combos. You have to complete ALL of the modes to get more outfits. You have to complete mission mode for an outfit and if you complete mission mode with all S rank (quite hard) I don't know, you might get another outfit?

Even I don't have all of the outfits myself :)

I had a hard time with that also, all I can say is don't stay in the middle, run around the great hall and look for an opening on one. Once one is down, it'll be a little easier. Hope that helps :)

I guess I just do it that way so he won't gain more health after teleporting (though it doesn't seem to work anyways) and he won't move for like a second after he appears again, so he gives you plenty of time to find him. Well, thank you again!
