  • Rock Tenn recently acquired Smurfit-Stone Container in Baltimore,Md. - 725 Pittman Rd. - Hope New Management is much better than Smurfit-Stone. After Smurfit-Stone acquired this facility from St Laurent Packaging back in March 2000, they ran the plant into the ground. The morale is so low out on the floor and for the most part,it's not the hourly employess,it's the ignorance of the management team. They don't maintain the equipment properly, but yet they expect top performance. Time will tell.

  • being a single male with no children, this was a good place to work for me to get out of debt.. but if you have a life outside of work, this place will make you lose your mind..

  • I'm also an employee of Rock-Tenn.

    I'm a Printing Pressman of 17 years.

Our plant here in Baltimore closed Nov.5,2008,and I will be relocating to Sequatchie Valley plant.

Warrior13th,I have 2 friends relocating to your plant, they are good people.(Tom,will be supervisor, and Sandy, will be running machines in the finishing dept.)

  • I hope you get wrapped up in the rolls warrior and your brains fly out of your butthole!

  • I'm an employee of Rock Tenn myself, the Nicholasville Ky carton folding facility, and it's honestly the best job i've ever had. I'm extremely proud of my job and am so happy for the job. Those rolls they're making come to my plant and I am a sheeter operator.
