  • looks like jackie knew something that howard didnt. The web is huge now and still growing. Now howie doesnt shut up about his tweetering.Jackie should remind him about this.

  • @2:46 Stern's brain freezes, then reboots and restarts the entire conversation @

    2:57 HILARIOUS

  • .. Dammm thats wild.

  • This is one of the few things that is actually ironic.

  • I may upload another instance where Howard goofs on using superior IBM OS2 while Jackie is using dopy Windows 3.0.The Howard reads from an listeners fax saying that the new Pentium processor at 133mghtz is just the start and they predict passing the 200 mark some day.Everybody in the crew is astonished by this. This would be from mid 1994 and if actually funny i will upload.

  • @martinishot Haha that's great. I love clips like that. I had one saved of everyone talking about laserdiscs during the mid-90s, but have misplaced it :(.

  • AND 14 YEARS LATER HOWARD IS GETTING SCREWED OVER BY YOUTUBE. LOL

  • @djcruzify lol little does howard know: the only people paying for sirius that are his fans are his old die hard fan base. Without youtube howard would be unheard of anymore.

  • "advertisement", I notice Howard always pronounce things differently... I wonder if he does this on purpose.

  • @jdaking1 Canadians and Brits pronounce Advertisement the way howard just did at 2:38 and i dont like it.

  • wow this was old...talking about vcr's and saying noone has the ''world wide web''haha everyone does now..to funny

  • Stern's comments remain timeless

  • Handsome, you have some of the best taste in Stern on youtube...

    :D

  • I love hearing Howard explain how the internet works.

  • and now he IS on the internet, and we're all listening to him for free...

  • The "world wide web" lol!!!!!

  • it's funny how we all didn't know what the internet would become, now we can't even imagine living without it.

  • he's on the World Wide Web now

  • fa-fa fo-fo...FOOEY!!

  • In Howard's defense, the web DID suck pretty hard back in 96.

  • this is so cool listening to people diss the world wide web. only 13 years and look where we are.

  • "There's a guy in Brussels, he thinks I'm a genius!"

"In Yucatan, I'm known as El Grande Joke-O!"

    Fred's Jackie impression is GOLD.

  • i think it was 1996 when i first went online (at college). we were all amazed just watching the N of the Netscape logo and lighthouse icon as the pages would load. How far we've come!

  • Wow. Now Howard is virtually dependent on the web. AND HE WAS GOOFIN' ON IT!

  • he was talking in the context that only a handful of people were using back in the day, so why use that market until it expands

  • ironic when you consider he went to satalite radio, a market that, while it has taken off, isn't anywhere near as big as howard had hoped he could help make it become.

  • In less than 5 years SIrius wend from about 600,000 subscribers to forcing xm to merge with them and having over 20 million. I'm pretty sure he's alright with that.
