I think it was on at the time. The only way to turn it off and still get a good picture is a tripod.

The lower the ISO the crisper the picture and less "noise." BUT you need a lot of light, like outdoors or else it will be very dark or black.

The lower the light, the higher the ISO.

Also, be sure you have the focus set to normal or macro depending on how close the subject is.

@happiewifehappielife I have a Sanyo 1010 and I found is if you going into the ISO and change from Auto to manual and lower the ISO by one stop sometimes even two it is better. What happens is the Sanyo likes to add to much light and makes the video too grainy making it look bad.

I owned the Kodak Zi8, and returned it because I found the video jumpy. I then bought the Sanyo Xacti CG10 and I'm lovin' it. I found the gun handle grip makes it easier to control the camera. I't also more comfortable holding it with both hands, which makes for more steady shots.

i think youtube really is not the best way to get a good idea on a video camera. I think uploading the raw file to mediafire you can really get a much better idea. Youtube HD drops frames and has video tearing.

I use a program called PlayOn to watch HULU and youtube on PS3 and XBOX 360. If you want to get a better idea of a video run this software and stream it to your PS3 or XBOX. Reason is Playon will encode the video to MPEG2 and take out the video tearings from FLASH.
