  • you have some great stuff here

  • very interesting video thanks

  • What pisses me off is that I keep selecting this damn video.

  • Thutmose III is the step-son of Hatshepsut >.> from his husband, Thutmose II who was her half-brother. Thutmose III is the son of one of the wives of Thutmose II.

  • great show!

  • I'd like to point out one of my own little pet peeves. And it has nothing to do with color as so many seem to be arguing about. Rather it's the tendency people have to refer to Pharaoh Hetshepsut as Queen Hetshepsut. And while at one point she was simply a queen she rose above that and became a regent, and from there a Pharaoh. It would be more appropriate to refer to her as King, despite her gender. Queen, if I'm not totally off, would be reserved for the pharaoh's head wife.

  • It's offensive is that these claims are not based on research, or evidence They are fiction. They are based on a desire for them to be true. They are based on a notion that white scholars have repressed the truth . They are based on the desire to give African-American children self-esteem and pride." Dr. Gerald Early, African-American Professor Washington University St. Louis., On being asked about Black Egypt. Look it up.

  • The term Caucasian race (also Caucasoid, Europid, or Europoid[1]) has been used to denote the general physical type of some or all of the indigenous populations of Europe, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, West Asia, Central Asia, and South Asia.[2] Historically, the term has been used to describe the entire population of these regions, without regard necessarily to skin tone.

  • People in North-African countries, such as Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt are NOT black, although they live in Africa, which is a huge continent. The "race" of this people is considered Caucasian, along with most people who live around the Mediterranian. If you look at the ancient Egyptian masks, paintings you will see that they are NOT black, but look very similarly as Egyptians look now.

  • Dear Ms. Viking Juicy McJuicy Booty. I am using my family's computer account FYI (Carl is my father's name - and don't think about disrespecting him Seducia!) And I insist that you explain to me how I was being racist! (no f-ing joke). Otherwise, I'll just think you throw that out there to make white people back off, which I don't buy into. Egyptians are the ancesters of today's egyptians, and since you dropped out of school when you were 7, you probably never got the chance to see any, right?

  • Well (as a woman should I recall) I do enjoy observing you too getting all Viking-angry right on the internet! Don't stop be a fool. And remember Egypt is in Africa so Egyptians must have been black! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • In the name a the juicy viking booty of yours, please explain me HOW these comments where racist? Don't just draw the card of racism again without explaination! By the way, I'm a full grown woman with what Spanish people call 'tetas' and last time I checked (let me do it right now) I have female genitalia! You want a bitch slap? Here, I got one for you *bitch-slaps the hoe*

  • I'm from South Africa and I'm used to be called racist for any reason (black people tend to do that...A LOT!!!). You being 5'11'' does not make you have a juicy booty. I know 5'' people with juicy booties. The little booty is at everybody's reach (you're making assumptions again). By the way, is it OK if I call you The Viking?

  • How is that being racist? LMAO; HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. LOL. You're so ignorant! LOL, HAHAHA, LMAO. You're very sad too. End of conversation, ok!?!

  • You like telling other people that they are ignorant, right? I bet you do this all the time to prevent yourself from thinking. Oh, and by the way, you don't make any sense, and you're ignorant! See how easy it is to refutate like that? What research did you do? Pretend you know everything? That doesn't count little booty girl. Oh, and how am I blinding myself from the truth? *spiting on you* Shut up! End of conversation because I say so, because I'm a 5$ hoe named Ebunnyluv *slaps a hoe*

  • Get your wig sewed back on cause you are going crazy! Btw the ''founder'' of egypt, doesn't exist cause nobody 'founded' Egypt.

''I think everybody forgot that Egypt is in Africa, and Egyptians were black'

Egypt is in Africa, therefore it's people are black. That is what you said in other words. South Africa was ruled by the British only centuries later the Dutch arrived btw, and the source of White, Asian, and Coloured immigration does not, therefore come from the British ruling.

  • Don't get ghetto. Keep your jewelry on....and your high heels, yes. ''I think everybody forgot that Egypt is in Africa, and Egyptians were black'' aahh hhuummm!!! I think you forgot what you said, huh? Egyptians looked like the arabs of today, they weren't black. And the fact that Egypt is on the continent of Africa doesn't affect anything...

  • Not everybody from Africa is black. Do you know what the Mahgreb is??? Apparently not. You shouldn't have dropped school...

  • Cavalli-Sforza et al. (1994) compared populations from throughout the world using extensive genetic

data. The North African populations grouped with West Eurasian (European, Middle East) populations

    rather than sub-Saharan Africans.

  • Yes but there is no way in that amount of time they could have went from that to that! My family has been around since 900 AD we have no records of black egyptians in the last 1000 years before Egypt fell to Rome, I have a major in history, my family is friends with major Egyptologists. We would know. The bust of Nefertiti, and yes they did use clay at that time so y'all cant use that frequently used come back. Maybe before 1000 BC they were but not after.

  • Personally, I don't give a scarab's backside of the skin color or pigmentation of the ancient people. The kitty is not a damn "leopard." It's called an OCELOT.

  • "tryna"?

Is that the black history you're talking about? Using words that don't exist and pretending to know what you're talking about?

  • Fuck you, you racist fuck. Any educated individual would know that African doesn't equal 'black'. Have you ever been to Africa, asshole? Have you been to North Africa, dipshit? Have you been to Libya, Tunisia, or Morocco, shitbrain? Those people have been there since the Neolithic era. Do us all favor and put a gun in your mouth and squeeze.

  • "So you tryiing to say africans are pale white like these people on the tape?"

Yes, moron, that's what I'm 'tryiing' to say. See my original post for African countries that have never been black, then punch yourself in the mouth.

  • Egyptians are Arabs.

Go to Egypt today. What do you see??

    Arabs.

  • Egyptian were Not black. look at the paintings. any scholar can tell you this. the Nubians where black, not the Egyptians. they show painting where there the Egyptians, and there's the Nubians who were Negros. Get over it the egyptions were NOT negros. And they where not pale eigher. they where tan, niffertiti father had BLUE eyes!! and her sister had green eyes! look it up!
  • i am egyptian and we are arabs we always have been olive colored people just like every arab from marroco to iran to say we where all black then we mixed with whites makes you sound uneducated

  • How do you know that Nefertiti's father and mother had light eyes?

    I've never heard that!

  • As the video producer, let me say that most of these comments are pretty moronic.

If I was on an island with only "white" people and we wanted to do a play about M.L.King ... gee, would that be "allowed"?

Get over white vs. black, nubian vs. egyptian, etc.

Duh, this is a low budget show. Duh, the cast is mostly people who were "available." Duh, it wasn't shot in Egypt.

The love of egyptian art, culture and women's empowerment is quite sincere. It's not a "plot" and it's not "evil." Thanks.

  • People can't seem to understand that a depiction is a depiction. I made this account out of disgust for racist comments being made on Egyptian videos. I have to say the good thing about my undertaking this is that I've learned even more about ancient Egypt and anthropology than I ever thought I would ;)

  • You are a racist prick. Name one contribution that the negroid Nubians gave to the world. NONE. It was the white Egyptians that influenced the negroids, even capturing and enslaving them. Go read a book, racist dummy.

  • rofl...go ahead and assume everyone against Afrocentrist lies is white. Read my userinfo and note that 2 out of 3 authors are: African-American and Ghanaian. A Black American and and African who recognise Afrocentrism for what it is...bullshit.

  • ROFL...I'm about as white as a Masai warrior, the only person engaging in racism is you.

  • greetings from Isis Oasis!

We are renewing our website and would love to feature your beautiful film! is there a way you can send a copy to the temple?

    blessings!

  • C'mon this is only a silly play, it is not meant as a documentary of factual history. Its some lady cult celebrating women as powerful leaders, I suppose. Casablanca is also in "Africa" but they are not "black" in the way you mean; and neither were/are the Egyptians. The Egyptians are not the same people as the Ethiopians and Nubians; just as the Greeks are not the same people as the Romans or the Turks.

  • Egyptians, while indigenous, were not what I'd call black in the American/western sense of the word. There were black-skinned individuals (Khafra, Tanarka, etc) same as there were white-skinned (Nefertari, Nitocris, Tutankhamun, Ramses).

  • Your profanity and um...use of a religious book's mythology to prove something that has been scientifically disproven does nothing to change the facts, quit trying to claim this culture as your own. It's as ridiculous as a modern Vietnamese person claiming the Great Wall and Chinese accomplishments for his own because the Chinese were Asian too. Ironically they'd have more of a right because Viets have proven Chinese ancestry...heh

  • Egyptians were indigenous Africans, but they were not what you'd call pure black. They depicted themselves as red-brown and they called Nubians (Negroids) "kinky-haired" and painted -them- black. I laugh when I see black Americans wearing pharaonic garb, it looks ridiculous on them when they'd be more fitting to dress up as Nubians.

FYI read the link on my channel written by a Ghanaian author about how African-American Afrocentrists are dismissing even black African scholars' views.

  • Also, Berbers are considered indigenous to Africa but are white. African does not equal black.

  • Haha wrong, I'm not even European OR WHITE. I have nothing to gain from proving Egyptians were not all black. Just the truth.

    Look up Ethiopian ancestry:

    w w w . pubmedcentral . nih . gov / articlerender . fcgi?artid=1182106

Western Eurasian eh? It's not as simple as black and white!

  • This is a theatrical production, use your imagination!

For budgetary reasons, we didn't fly a crew to Africa and hire an "authentic" cast...

    Rise above.

  • Very observant.

Part of the challenge and fun of theater is to create a piece that anyone can perform.

    Think inclusion.

  • New Age Lady Cult? A lot of work went into set design and costuming. The ancient Egyptians were not Somalis... their society began in Alexandria at the mouth of the Nile. They went from simple shelter-type dwellings to permanent dwellings to the giant structures that still survive today. They are not Somalians, they are Egyptians, they are not the same people.
