I have been struggling with eating disorders since I was 11 years old..My friend showed me this song yesterday and said that it reminded him of me. I cry everytime i listen to this song because it describes me perfectly. I really want to be healthy, but I am so terrified of becoming fatter than I already am or that noone will want me. But i am praying that God will give me the strength to get over this and I know if I reach out to him and trust him, he will give me the strenght to get over this.

My family and friends worry about me, they all say I have a eating disorder. I go days and days without eating, but grandma caught me most of the time and made me eat but she just passed away. I have made myself through up and I still try. My step sister was like "I'm gonna go make myself through up, I'm so fat." I tell her she's beautiful and perfectly fine and i tell her its not good for her health she's stop doing it, but I'm a hypocrite cause I just can't stop...... :\
God wants to restore you and use you to help others struggling with their self image. Psalm 139:13-14 says "For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made , your works are wonderful , I know that full well". Just know that God loves you so much, he made you in His image :)

When I had my eating disorder, I heard this song, I cried. This song helped me recover from my eating disorder and reminded me that I am beautiful because God made me that way, and He loves me. It was a long road to recovery, and I still struggle with it a little bit today, but God helped me get through it. I want all of you girls out there to know that you are beautiful, fearfully and wonderfully made, and God has a plan for you, there is purpose for your life.

I hate how ppl think that this song brings the wrong "meaning" towards ourselves by saying we need to look our best and the only way to do that is through ourselves. This songs empowers ppl to become confident and content with themselves. It shows us that God made each of us as a masterpiece that is not to be "tweaked" by society. When we finally come to terms with that beauty is from within then no outward beauty can ever dream of competing with it. That is the message this song is giving

I need this song so many times...I am so thankful I have God and a testimony. This song reminds me of the way I felt at Springhill Camp this past summer, when my testimony really shows me that I am precious. I am a fifteen year-old-girl, and while I grew up in a Christian Reformed (Lutheran, to be exact) home, I never really knew God. I have been struggling with eating disorders since I was 11 years old..My friend showed me this song yesterday and said that it reminded him of me. I cry everytime i listen to this song because it describes me perfectly. I really want to be healthy, but I am so terrified of becoming fatter than I already am or that noone will want me. But i am praying that God will give me the strength to get over this and I know if I reach out to him and trust him, he will give me the strenght to get over this.

When I had my eating disorder, I heard this song, I cried. This song helped me recover from my eating disorder and reminded me that I am beautiful because God made me that way, and He loves me. It was a long road to recovery, and I still struggle with it a little bit today, but God helped me get through it.
