I saw this movie. It's not really a romantic comedy. It's better to think of it as a drama with a few funny moments. It starts off like a comedy, but at a certain point it switches gears to be sombre and serious, which I didn't like.

In any case, Winona Ryder is terrific in the film, and she looks amazing.

Got this on DVD. Winona was a little slutty in this movie which I've never seen her do before and I loved it. Although she and Wes lacked a bit of chemistry. Ray Romano was great. All in all, I love this movie. Now, if only my ex-boss would give back my DVD. LOL!!!

That trailer is the same kind of crappy BS that pisses me off about 90% of trailers, they give away the ending. What tis the point of writing a script that builds tension till the end if you have some schmuck in the marketing department cut a trailer that gives away the very last scene of the film. The whole film is built around the question of whether or not Romano's character will kill himself, and when the film forces that question on you, if you've seen this trailer, you'll know the answer.

Unless it's the roof scene then no, it doesn't give away anything since it doesn't tell you anything. if fact, I didn't even know that the movie was about this dude killing himself or not. You can't see the movie and then see the trailer and say that it gives away to much. Of course it will, you already know what's gonna happen. And thanks for ruining the movie for us.

@Dmclean1982 Idk to me the ending isn't the most important part. Whenever I read a book I always go to the end of the book and find out what happens and then continue reading from where i left off. With movies I'm always asking people how it ends if they seen it before. 'Cause to me its not about how the story ends 'cause half of the time i'm not satisfied with it. The best part is the middle, the journey. It's where all the best scenes take place. It's how you get to the end that counts.

@Dmclean1982 It's only a bad thing if they're clear about that what's shown in the trailer is the ending, when watching a movie you can't predict when what you saw in the trailer is going to happen until it happens. Hardly any trailers give anything away, they show random clips from random scenes in the movie that compile well together and play some music in the background, there's no such thing as a spoiler in a trailer unless they literally put the words "This happens at the end" in it.
