in blink travis is the only 1 with skill yet they have sold over 22 million albums...

why? cuz of mark and toms song writing skils and i mean mark has the potential to do the hard stuff but it doesent go wif his lyrics + he has to sing which alot f bassists dont have to do.

Mark's not so great...He's my idol but people,he's just an average bassist. But in this "new punk-rock era" (early 90's to 00's) he's an icon. And yes,he's an excellent excellent musician,but not such a great bassist

Well, yeah, but then muse play a different genre, where the bass actually takes over as the more melodic instrument at times. Try to imagine a blink song with chris's bass playing... it just wouldn't sound right. Or take the world's best jazz bassist and put him in AC/DC... wouldn't work. Everyone's good for a specific genre. And come to think of it.... Cliff William's playing is even more minimalist than Mark's. What im trying to say is that mark excells at punk music...
