  • I have it and I've told absolutely no one i'm so embarrassed to have it, All I want is for it all to go away and let me go on with my life, I worry about the simplest of things and I hate.

for example 'oh god i'm late that means people will see me come in' or 'What if my friends aren't here today? who will I hang out with?' and stuff like that and it's just so frustrating :s

  • Its so funny the way he says it "AssBurgers" I'm not being or anything but I have it too. It isn't pronounced like that. It is pronounced As-Pergers Not AssBurgers.

  • I have this. People always tell me i look emo and dont show emotion in my face or voice. I dont make a lot of eye contact and what i think people will take as a joke, they dont. I have more but thats all i wanna type. Its not fun.

  • @TheAnonymousAspie You just wrote what I have been trying to tell people around for the greater part of my life! Very well said, my fellow Aspie:)

  • i have noticed that cod-liver oil, which contain omega-3 fatty acids for brain functions, tempers symptoms of AS or AD significantly, even so much that i dont see deviant behaviour at all and i can forget my abnormality without losing my personality. also zinc, magnesium or phosphoserine may help ppl with AS or ADHD and other brain chemical issues. i can say that i have been CURED, althought my problems were pretty slight

  • Weed cures it

  • @PIMPINGANGSTERNINJA yeah it really helps :D

  • @theanonymousaspie

    Exactly what I was thinking

How old are you? (no pedophilia intended)

  • @TheAnonymousAspie

    No problem! :D

  • @TheAnonymousAspie

If I could fave comments, I'd fave yours! :D

  • bla bla if asperger gets a child its 70% ur child can develop autisam.

and if u get a abortion and it damages the livmodern or whatever u can have it 2.

  • @zangoish Okay seems like you're horribly misinformed. asperger's is essentially a form of autism, so the first part of your comment has no meaning. An abortion with complications couldn't cause asperger's. A person is born with it. Seriously check the facts, so you don't waste your time or others' by spewing nonsense.

  • @gamelvr1 no i think im right.

  • @zangoish h

  • @zangoish You're dead wrong, asperger's syndrome is a developmental disorder that a person is born with. It's on the autism spectrum. An adult can't suddenly catch it. Actually check the facts.

  • @gamelvr1 why do the numbers increase if not ur mother has abortion then she borns you and then it happens.

secondly. if u have it u can make it to ur kids.

  • @zangoish The numbers increase because of the improved screening. It's only been been a recognized medical diagnosis since the early 90s. Ten years ago there were only a handful of counselors/psychiatrists that actually knew enough about Asperger's to help people with it. If family members have Aspergers it it more likely that the child would have (not a sure thing my any means). Try using some common sense, and actually look into the subject instead of spouting your ill-conceived misconceptions

  • @gamelvr1 ya give me sources that say it isent as i said-

i never said an adult cant suddenly catch it

  • @zangoish Check any medical journal, or actually look at the history of the syndrome. It's an autism spectrum disorder. Considering that that it's only been an official medical diagnosis for 19 years or so, of course the #s will go up as the screening process improves. Why don't you try providing proof of your poorly ill-conceived (not to mention barely legible) concepts. As for the 2nd part of the comment, rephrase your previous comment regarding abortion.

  • @zangoish This time actually in proper English. The way it was written is nearly impossible for anybody to understand its meaning.

  • @gamelvr1 my words and sound and clear u on the otherhand...

welll i said if u have asperger ur child can have it.

i said if ur mother womb or woether get dmged there is a risk u can have it

  • @zangoish There's no evidence to support or deny such a claim that a damaged woman's womb could cause the child to have have aspergers. So that is entirely speculation. Yes if a parent has Asperger's there's an increased chance of the child having it. For the record that was the first mostly coherent comment you've written in this string of comments. Actually compare the two points in your comment to what you said earlier. If you were trying to make the same point, there's no way to tell.

  • aha, answers to spam appear at the top... interesting... it was a reply to someone who thought, drinking helps him overcome the "wrong planet"-feeling... and also: of course there is no cure! cures are for diseases! And if you could catch AS, I bet some ppl would try to catch it for the gains in creativity and intellectual faculties...

  • Paradoxical - stop calling for a cure. It will never happen, and calling for it holds all of us (you included) back. You need help and I suggest you go and get it, and make the adjustments you need to.

  • a cure is not needed. while it has many disadvantages it has many advantages, it's a trade off. the only way to cure it that i can think of is reconstructing certain areas of the brain so good luck with that.

  • Gregjock - go back to where you came from. People like you are the reason people like us have so much trouble getting the support we need up.

  • sighs... im gonna be super famous, and i'm gonna laugh at you so hard, gregjocka1001.

  • there are many symptoms, sir, but none of them are bedwetting, and psychosis has nothing to do with it either. so we aren't "Wackos".

as well most people with aspergers are more intelligent than the majority of people and happen to be, almost universally, better at mathematics and science than the majority, because we are better at recognizing patterns and concrete laws.

i still want a cure though and i find your comment slightly offensive, but youre obviously trolling , so FOAD, U Bitch.

  • Paradoxical003, there's no such thing as an assburger that doesn't wet the bed, prick. assburgers need to pretend that they're more intelligent than everyone else cuz they fail so miserably at having friends. you lose, cunt. hope you get hit by a truck so that you don't waste any more taxpayer dollars with your scam disability. you're the weakest link. goodbye. rofl!

  • youre such a fag.

    be an hero, please.

  • Paradoxical003, zero is the new hero, cuntface.

  • @gregjockca1001 as an individual with this disability i am deeply offended. how old are you? 12? we don't pretend we are more intelligent than everyone else, what you percieve as aloofness (if you don't know that word can't help you) is actually just a complete ignorance of other's emotions. we are socially awkward and often isolated hence we don't interact well with others. fuck you.

  • @gregjockca1001 Your a retard you know that i have aspergers and i don't piss in my bed like you might have when you were a child, or are you still a child. We asperger people are definetly more intelligent and more outside-the-box thinking than you will ever be, numbskull. So think about that the next time you make another freaking cheeky comment that downgrades my race all right.

  • @gregjockca1001 That's the most narrow-mindedly thought of stereotype I've ever heard, your race sux at least we make excellent contributions to society and aspergers people who wet their beds are probably teenagers having wet dreams or have some other mental thingy.

  • I have aspergers. o.o

  • Aspergers is serious!

  • Its not a thought up name its named after the guy who discovered it Hans asperger some german guy apparrently he spotted some symtoms that we can use to diagnose kids with AS even today

  • Pwn3d99, who came up with this name? well, there was this guy who was flipping burgers on a grill and his ass was showing. it turns out, the guy was mental and had few friends because he had ASSBURGERS. lol.

  • FUCKING TROLLS!

  • I wouldn't categorize Asperger's as a "disability", maybe a disorder, however, there are advantages to having it, being that I have AS, I can say that I am more logical, rational and intelligent but I have subpar social skills.

However, environmental toxins have nothing to do with Asperger's, it has to do with nonverbal autism, there's a major difference on the spectrum between those two.

  • Its funny, but I found that, too... the "wrong planet"-feeling isnt all that stron when i am drunk...

  • StateOfBoxig just because your kids were diagonesed with autism after there vacation doesnt mean they caught it. i was diagnoesed with it when i was 3 but i had since birth. its just the doctors dont alwys spot it straight away (p.s. the best way to learn about autisim is to ask people like me...the ones with autism)

  • yeah me too, I was diagnosed at around 10 yet I can remember acting autistic way before that

  • No you didn't. You either never had to start with, or you still have it.

  • u probably just grew out of it, that happens in 1 in 5 aspie adults, u probabloy just think that was d case cause i take omega oil tablets and im still aspie, DONT GENOCIDE ASPIES WITH CURES!

  • Frodijr, you don't "grow out of it". What actually happens is it improves with age. You're never off the Spectrum entirely. That's impossible. Your sentence in capital letters is absolutely right!

  • thats a weight off my shoulder!

  • Opisthotonos, I thought that viral infections during pregnancy and within the first few years of life can influence autism. I wouldnt say that it is "only genetics"

  • Influence is not causation.

  • "genetics MAY play a factor?" oh my god, it's ONLY genetic.. you can't get asperger's syndrome if there is no one in your family that has it..

  • yes but it simply has not been proven. People have ideas but none of which have yet been "proven". Genetics seems like the most likely reason

  • you need to do your homework...

  • Comment removed

  • Yes they do. Look again. Properly this time.

  • Yes they do. You didn't look PROPERLY.

  • You still didn't look properly. Yes they do, and don't deny it. The more you deny it the stupider you look.

  • Fine. Describe what other members of your family do for a living.

  • Mums side:

Mum: works in some government building

    Uncle 1: Tree surgeon

    Uncle 2: Don't know

    Uncle 3: Don't know

    Dad's side:

    dad: mechanic

    Uncle: Fixes computers

Auntie: Sometimes teaches children about cycling.

That is about all I know

  • Tree Surgeon and fixing computers are typical Aspie jobs. So's a mechanic if your Dad is fixated with cars. Government work can also be an Aspie haven. But it looks like you don't know your family that well. Says plenty about your claim.

  • Opisthotonos is 'partially' right on this one, I think genetics are a major factor but there are many autistics who have parents and other relatives that have autistic traits but not enough to qualify as autistic, I'm not sure though but that might be PDD-NOS, I'll have to check, in which case nevermind you're 100% right

  • this kid that used to go to my school had this disorder, me and my freinds used to make fun of him because he got angry at alot of things, from the simple things, like a teacher not doing a simple task that they said they would eg, moving a box, to the random crap, like "chocolate coated conkers" (that really made him mad), he was also socially challenged, anyway, I feel guilty about what I did, and I want to know more about these people, so I can help them instead of turning them into a joke

  • "I feel guilty about what I did, and I want to know more about these people, so I can help them instead of turning them into a joke"

useful guilt, and - quite frankly - it's sad that more people don't have your integrity.

your best way to learn more is to go on a course at university (Sheffield Hallam Univ has such a course, but there are other courses at Birmingham Univ too; SHU is your nearest one).

  • thanks, but it will be a few more years untill I reach university, but I want to become a palentologist or something along those lines, so it will be difficult to take a course like you suggested, I think the easiest option that you suggested is one of those blogs, so I`ll give one a read, thanks anyway

  • that'd be a degree in geology with final year specialist courses in palaeontology... about three to four years :) a course leading to a degree could get you onto the other sorts of courses i mentioned though. i got a BA-equvalence in psychology, mathematical sciences, archaeology and Finnish, and did educational psychology (specialising in ub autism).

but yes, do your first degree in something that fires you up; tack the rest on later ;)

all the best, however you end up doing it :)

  • also, there's a good number of blogs by Asperger-autistic people; they'd be worth reading, although things can get quite hot there (in terms of things that get thrown between people as comments: read at your own risk).

  • yeah it happens. I have aspergers and i get angry over the same sort of things and people piss me off about it. I wish people has more education about it and all types of autism

  • Autism is not curable. Everyone with Autism had it from birth. No flaming exceptions!!

  • were you paying attention to the video at all? aspergers is a quote on quote "develomental" disorder, meaning your born with it but you grow into the symptoms later in life (commonly age 2)

  • My Son was not born with it !

  • Yes he was.

  • Amalgam fillings, really, thats the best you can come up with. How old were you when you got these fillings? How little mercury is in them? Thats seriously messed up that your clinging to that, then posting about your lies on your blog. Your Asperger's, I'm Asperger's, and its all cool :D, its only not cool if your a self-loathing aspie like yourself.

  • You can't catch aspergers and IMO i don't want mine to be cured.

    being 1 in every 300.

    makes me feel special.

  • Foresam is lying. He is still Aspergers despite chelation. His son is not cured and his son is in fact LFA. He is in massive denial about the truth of Aspergers and is a threat to it's understanding. It would be prudent if his comment was removed to preserve the truth. An excellent video and 100 percent accurate. I speak as a diagnosed Aspie.

  • I remember when somebody asked me if they could "catch" Autism. I was both astounded and offended by their ignorance. But I politely informed them that it was not contagious. And that it's not a "disease."

    Only a neurological difference.
