@PhantomFreakV2 Artists don't get shit off of the albums. You're really paying 80 percent to whoever produced the album, and probably even less than 20 percent to the artist. The singer from disturbed supports piracy, because at least its getting to more people and more people are likely to go to their concerts, which is a bands bread and butter.

Then I'll definitely buy it to help support the band and also because its unlikely I'll find their stuff floating on the net. But I'd never buy an album from a band like ac/dc ever again. Plus, thats also a factor, I've bought cds and they've broke or stopped working, if that happens I'm not buying them again because people manufacture shitty material.

@PhantomFreakV2 not so much. record labels get the most money from albums because they produced them. artists get their money from playing shows and only a very small portion of the money made from albums. they couldnt support themselves on album money alone, thats why they play shows
