Most managers have plenty of emotional commitment to give to their jobs. If they can be convinced it’s safe and sensible to give it.

You talk of Georgia and Russia... I just met someone who came to USA 8 yrs ago for asylum & she is still waiting & has not seen her children for 8 yrs! They just arrested her cousin for trying to save a cat from her burning apartment & I have videos of me trying to help her get her cousin out of jail but bail bond man would not take her $250 bail money when finally released & told us to come back next shift (over an hour later) while he was counting his cash for the night!
