  • That's too bad for the audience. Audience reception or lack thereof in this case is meaningless. Lorne is one of the best jazz guitarists on the planet. Oscar Peterson once said that Lenny Breau would never make it in jazz. That just shows how much faith you can put even in the gurus. Newsflash: they are finite human beings not gods.

    None of this detracts from Lorne's greatness just as in the case of Lenny Breau. The work stands on its own and is not dependent on any audience. .
