Its not the official video, but yes, using live footage with an album cut was, and is, common. The difference is, this is a really a supposed 'live' performance. You can hear the the audio quality change as the musicians pass in front of the speakers pumping out the album cut, and they mixed in the audience singing along, but its still a lip synched live show.
