That parade is like classic bavarian catholic style, that's the type of songs they sing here in church as well (although I'Ve never seen a parade quite like this before). They celebrated Fronleichnam, no idea what that would be in English : )

That's super cool, though. I'm sure you take parades like that for granted, but as a medievalist, I find it so cool that pieces of old Germany parade right by your window like that. I really like the idea that sometimes people don't care what year it is. I've never been to your neck of Germany but would like to visit someday.
