OK. I have a big history with Neil; My big sister was a huge fan. I listened to his albums from an early age and attenended many concerts. This was never one of my favorite Neil songs. This seems like an ok cover but without a lot of emotion. sorry. Just commenting from a person who has grown up with his music and has it pretty much ingrained.

@catkisser Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I will say that I gave this song my best effort. I felt the emotion and thought I had translated it, both in singing and playing. I am disappointed that I was unable to please you with my performance. Keep listening.. Maybe I'll get better. ;)

But as far as being competent when it comes to judging an all round Good Cover Performance,Well i am happy to inform you that you can get a new set of hearing aids on Ebay.... Now this is a cover worthy of the master's original! Even Diamond didn't do all the guitar work. Love the double track. Not only is this song good for a snowy weekend, but something else that occurs in February.
