You could tell the difference between your non crit white attacks as soon as you had better gear, for instance. And a 2k crit was a lot more impressive than what it would be equivelant to now (taking a guess, about 74,386 in Cata?). Cata health and damage just seems wildly insignificant, I'd imagine they would double it again in Pandaria, that would be nuts.

@hbolle00 It won't go up unproportionally, but yea, they've doubled the damage (more or less) on each expansion so far. I'd imagine they are bound to hold back for Pandaria this time, although they also originally said that WoTLK damage wouldn't be doubled (and it was 3x atleast). Oh well.

I believe they are trying to take the route of giving us something like 50% reduced damage, hp, etc while in Pandaria and pandaria related dungeons, while maintaining our full 100% outside of dungeons so they don't hinder us in old content.
