I do believe it is considered assault according to the law. I am not familiar with the case you are talking about - but I seriously doubt that you have your facts straight. By and large, as long as I listened to him, Rush stood for a set of principles that are well reasoned and worthy of respect. He may himself have issues - though I have never seen evidence of that - but those ideas are the reason why people hate him - and they are worthy of discussion and clear-headed argumentation - not simple internet attacks that can have no response.
You are not familiar with the shooting of a security guard in Washington D.C.'s Holocaust Museum a couple months back? An elderly racist blew away the guard. I do believe it is considered assault according to the law. The tyranny Slappy can apply comes largely from the insular nature of the church and the difficulty created for anyone trying to simply leave. Thanks. I've listened to quite a bit of Rush in my time and can do a pretty good imitation. However, when he says things like "the Holocasut museum shooter was a lefty" when clearly the guy has a long history of right wing stuff in his background, Rush knows that isn't true but he is making an argument he knows is completely 100% dishonest.

I am not familiar with the case you are talking about - but I seriously doubt that you have your facts straight. By and large, as long as I listened to him, Rush stood for a set of principles that are well reasoned and worthy of respect. He may himself have issues - though I have never seen evidence of that - but those ideas are the reason why people hate him - and they are worthy of discussion and clear-headed argumentation - not simple internet attacks that can have no response.
