Oh, I loved this show but can't remember any more of it. Does anyone remember the name of a music show with Tony Salatan(?) on PBS? He played guitar & had a puppet named Poncinnelo.
Yes, Strawberry Square, I do remember that show as well--it was somewhat themed off of Sesame Street (if not a blatant rip-off :-) ), from what I remember...
pvx: I found out what the music is used for this show's theme! It's a piece called "Tweetee Lopez", by Don Voegeli. It was released only to CPB-funded public tv & radio stations as a 4-LP set of production music tracks composed & performed by Voegeli entitled "Oscillations 1,2,3 & 4", recorded at & released by the Univerity of Wisconsin-Extensions' Electrosonic Studio. I just found this out while perusing through the record collection at my 2nd job at a pub. radio station.....!
I'm actually in the process of transferring those records to CD/MP3, I'll let you know when I accomplish such (there's about 5 LPs worth of material), and I'll post it up for downloading... I'm sure all the moog fanatics will love it... :)
Oh my goodness, now I remember which educational tv show that theme song is from! It's been etched in my memory from when I used to watch this show on Prairie Public Television here in ND (just as mplsjenn did). It also sounds like something The Moog Cookbook would perform! :)
Tnx for putting up this clip though, brings back a whole slew of grade school memories!
Ah The Glory Days Of Old PBS. I Think I Remember Another Old PBS Show That Had A Pirate And A Genie And A Head That sets up a game for the pirate and the genie. So If anyone remembers the name of this old pbs show. put it on here ok?.

Great clip. You should update if you ever figure out where they got the theme music.
I'm going to have to play the theme for my sister (she's 34). I bet it'll drive her nuts trying to remember why she knows the song.

Wow! I cant believe this is on here. Talk about going down memory lane. She used to be my 1st grade teacher. I only wish there was full episodes.
