I really see this more as a work/camping knife rather than a tactical blade. it just seems to chunky to be a tac blade, and I feel the tip is really not suited for any type of piercing moves
i like the rake better because the clip is movable. I believe those blades are braise welded with copper. so its not just a pretty copper accent color.
how sharp is it out of the box? im planning to get this, and the skinning knife and want at least one of them to be razor sharp. The first 2 knives i got are just sharp

1725 CB is the model number; model 1725 composite blade, the steel is sandvik i believe :D
