  • Sounds like dog shit. Shoulda got Magnaflow.

  • Awesome!! i am putting duals on my 01 Tundra in a month

  • awesome sound...but whats with the dinky 4x4 sticker

  • @chrisced007 where did you get the lights

  • dude nice tundra i love the sound.......check out my tundra on my page.

  • Mine dont sounds like this, i wish they did though. I have the same exhaust and everything

  • How does it sound 0-40?

  • too raspy for my taste..

  • ok where did u find this step up 2 buy i want 1 for my truck i cant seem 2 find full dauls anywhere and about how much was all of it 2 getther???

  • nice, sounds better than any chevy or ford i've ever heard!!!

And toyota reliability is a plus

I have a 2000 tundra with the v8 and it has 260k miles and counting with no major service done just maintenance i've kept up with

But my dad has a 96 chevy blazer that only has 126k miles and its needed over 10k in parts and he just doesn't feel like putting more money into it as it now needs a transmission (3rd time)

    CHEVY SUCKS

  • is this when you first put it on ? or does it get louder because some other vehicles with this exhaust are not this loud ? what is the reason , does it break in after so may kms or what , im thinkin about puttin these mufflers on my 1975 4x4 3/4 ton with a crate engine , the truck is mint so i wanna have a powerfull sound

  • This was about a week after I installed the exhaust. I do have some more current videos after the break in.

  • Not my taste, sounds good...

  • Thats okay. I would prefer a hemi Ram or chevy 5.3 myself.

  • @chrisced007 They are nice trucks, but (no offense) I find the Tundra to be superior looking, and has a WAY better interior! Not to mention at the time, the Tundra was the safest truck around!

  • did you do a cold start??

  • This was in April 08. About mid 50's I would say.

  • wat should i put on my o8 toyota tundra trd exhaust. write me back

  • the TRD duals as a factory option? remove the cats and disable the CEL with an ECU tune and run a single in/dual out turbo muffler attached to the stock tails

i'd think even the TRD muffler is as restrictive as any other stock muffler, turbo mufflers flow extremely well and sound great

  • is this just the kit that they sell that goes from the catalytic converter to the tip?

  • does this have the k & n intake?

  • Also how much would it be for the tips and the dual exhausts and installation all together?

  • Where did you get the 3.5 stainless steel angle cut tips from? I have a 2004 toyota tundra 4x4 4.7L V8 and I love the sound of your truck and I want mine to sound like that.

  • those exhausts always sound sooo sick! great job man.

  • The resonators were removed.

  • ohh and is it the original 40?

  • sounds pretty good man, she have a nice drone? Im getting the flowmaster 40 duals for my 97 gmc sierra soon and was wondering how much to expect to pay

  • hey man i have a 97 chevy z71 and i got the flowmaster 40 duals for about 500 which included installation. u can check my page to listen to them, they sound very nice. i also have a k&n cold air intake, hedman headers, and a hypertech powerprogrammer, of course i have the 350 ci vortech V8 and it is probably putting out around 360 horses, which is not bad for a truck that weighs 4500 lbs hah

  • Nice sounding truck. Was that a kit and if so who made it?

  • the exhaust was made. It wasn't one of those bolt on setups. Spirit Exhaust East Liverpool Ohio

  • I did notice a little bit of Hp increase and torque. Maybe 10hp at the most. I never had the truck dynoed. Also these 4.7 l lexus engines are I believe over head cam.

  • are these trucks ohc or pushrod?

  • DOHC.

  • actually four cams.

  • Did you notice any hp or torque differences after you installed them, less or more?

  • i got exhaust and intake both made a difference

  • I have the same year, nice, I think I might go with the dual exhaust system. What should I get installed first? Cold air intake or exhaust?

  • I would go with the dual exhaust first. The cold air intake doesn't really do that much. I happen to come across a used K&N intake for $100. It gave me a little top end speed but I did lose some low end torque. Do not install a throttle body spacer, performance chip, and/or performance drop in filter because they do absolutely nothing for the truck and they are a total waste of money.

  • I still have the stock headers on there.

  • I'm going to be making a couple of more videos when I get a chance. 1. drive by, 2. rev take off 0-60mph.

  • That sounds great!

  • thanks

  • how much Chris?

  • $340 which included tax.

  • They are the super 40 series mufflers

  • sounds just like mine, sounds nice

  • I noticed you said dual mufflers as well as pipes.... Do you have a Y pipe split from the converter, or is it true duals all the way back? If no Y pipe, and is is true duals, is there an X/H pipe?

    Sounds nice, btw.

  • There is no y pipe, x pipe, and/or h pipe. It is true dual exhuast all the way. The converters are still there also.

  • notice any performance gains from them?

  • somewhat. I never had the truck dyno tested.
