i have pypes offroad x pipe and i have the slp loudmouth 2 mufflers

and it sounds like a honda man i just put them on today and i dont like it..well at high rpms it sound rreally nice and also when i rev it but when i first take off it sounds like a tuner...now i was wondering if yours did that too and maybe they need to be driven a bit and get used to it or what do you think??

@TheFuturemarine2010 the sound of this exhaust did change over time. I made this video right after I had completely installed the exhaust system. see my latest video to see how it sounds after over a year. Its also the video response. the off road mid pipe makes is louder than if it had cats on it, so that may be why it screams a little too much at you. As opposed to a growl.

check mine out its the same set up as hyperRELAXING but i have an h pipe and i didnt think it make tht big of a diff but it kinda does

(reving starts at just under a minute and after 2 minutes it nothin just a time kill)

Doesn't sound anything like a V8, but it is a badass setup dude. I'm not sure why most V6 guys try to replicate the sound of an 8 anyway. The 6 has it's own unique sound, that's awesome in my opinion. Especially higher up in the RPM's, they can almost sound like a BMW I6 out of an M3.

If you wanted a bass, V8 sound, youd better with an H-pipe, Also, the tone is off, you could try a long resonated tip, to lower the tone of the exhaust. Easy N Cheap seeing as you allready spent the money.

If you were to do it again, GT takeoffs are about the the closest youll get to sounding like a GT but not necessarily the best sound possible lol

@DarkLinkAD this is the best exhaust if you want to make it sound like a V8. its loud as hell. I read that H-pipe's are better for torque, and X-pipes are better for horsepower. I dont think you can make the tip much longer without it looking stupid. the tip on this exhaust sticks out about 1 inch to expose the SLP logo. and a GT takeoff would have smaller piping, this is 2.5 in. piping from the headers back.

@hyperRELAXING I have a nice write up on Xpipes and Hpipes and it goes into more detail on to how the specifics work. If your running the 1/4, in most cases modified or not, they end up hitting even. After thats another story lol

2.5 is a lil big, 2.25 would have been better but with stock manifolds, it would be hard to notice the difference on either.

Youd have to be pushing over 300hp to lose hp in general, with a dual 2.25.

I wouldnt make the tip longer, id replace w/resonated tip.

i agree with this guy 350z motors are really nice V6's, my car only has 2 valves per cylinder... so its a 12 valve V6 and not a 24 valve V6. if you look up how much stock horsepower my car has its 150.. a 350z is around 300

but i still think that my car sounds nicer than a 350 ever could
