i have a problem with my vodoo 5 5500, when i plug it to the universal agp port it starts to display the image in my monitor but it also displays vertical lines, i tested other cards in my intel 815 motherboard and they dont display that problem, i noticed that my voodoo 5 has some scratches in the golden "connectors" that plugs in the agp port, does someone knows how to fix that problem ?

i did something like that to my ati card one day just for the hell of it.lets just say it stayed cool even when being overclock but it was unstable and crashed. i think what happened was that the port could not give the power it needed and crashed epically

@paulsosmac Ich suche immernoch nach der Voodoo 5 Schleichfahrt 3Dfx möglichkeit. Retrogamer auf jeden fall, aber nicht so übertrieben

Ich habe genau das gleiche vor - Schleichfahrt in Kombination mit V1 und V5 - Hab da schon so eine Idee ! Kontaktier mich falls du interessiert bist....

@zauche81 Da wäre ich gespannt. Mich ärgerts so das Schleichfahrt auf der V5 nicht will...Die V1 werd ich wahrscheinlich nur unter Win95 zum laufen bekommen.

I get about 2780 3Dmarks with the same A7V333 with a XP 2200+ @ 1.95 Ghz and Voodoo 5 5500 AGP @ stock on Win XP and Amigamerlin drivers. What Win 98 version and what drivers are you using? Where can i get the best 3dfx official Win 98 drivers?

@starsiegeplayer The old Fans was defect. And i had only the passive coolers and Fans by me. So i was ready to take off...^^ For Overclock, watch the Video (14% and it runs great) :)

Die Kühlung ist zwar übertrieben,find ich aber gut ; )

Auf meiner Voodoo 2 musste ich einen lüfter und ein paar kleine Aluminium Kühlkörper drauf kleben,weil ich sonst bei Tomb Raider 3 nach ein paar Minuten Grafikfehler bekam.

@Steampenner1994 Es ist wirkich unglaublich wie heiss die Voodoo 5 mit den riesigen Kühlern wird. Ohne Lüfter wurde die Karte keine Stunde überleben. Hatte keine anderen Lüfter hier als die Papst. Wieso also nicht drauf damit :)

Besser als die original Lüfter und ich kann sogar auf knapp 190Mhz übertakten. Bei 190Mhz kommen die ersten, fast unauffälligen Bildfehler :)
