Brilliant ! After all these years its as fresh as ever and brings back many happy memories . Thank goodness for real music and real talent as opposed to the modern trend for endless bland trash .....
If only I was alive to see them live at the Auditorium back in the 70's, damnit why did I have to be born during the worst time for music ie the 80's. Hawkwind is the definition of space rock, the true Gods. Hawkwind forever
What a mental version of one of my favourite Hawk tracks. Must have been an amazing concert. Pink Floyd had Wish You Were Here and Great Gig in the Sky, Hawkwind have lots of Wish I Was There and Great Gigs. =q=
I was at this concert! To this day it is still the most memerable concert that I have ever seen. Just watching Liquid Lens and The Lensmen do thier thing at the light board. Fantastic!
@ronjeremyismydad Apparently she started dancing one night when they were playing and became friends with the band and toured with them. There's an interview with her where she tells the story. Search the Tube for it...
Oh man, I had tickets for this show at the but was too burned out from seeing the Jefferson Starship's first show after re-forming. Night previous if I recall correctly. Lived up in Milwaukee and the drive down again was too much even for my 18 year old body.
Wish I'd gone though. REALLY wish I'd just stayed in Chicago. Jefferson Starship were great. Not at all lame yet. Hawkwind would have been a great capper.
Back in the 1970s, I had everything up until Space Ritual, but then sold them all. I think I may have missed something by not listening a little bit longer.
my favorite Hawkwind song of all time! one of the first Hawkwind songs my late friend Rick turned me on to, and i pray he is resting in peace now. he died 3 years to the day, and I miss his music influence to this day. Hawkwind was his first influence on me, and I still love it all because of him. Love you, Rick! Thanks for all the Hawkwind, my friend!! thanks tottiescot for this great music video! absolutely wonderful!!
@ramadarose41 - I have to concur. It's a beautiful, sweeping, majestic piece. Hawkwind at their creative peak. If Dave still thinks his ideal lineup would be five clones of himself he's fooling no-one. Thanks tottiescot.

Ottima band ma si sono ispirati un po' troppo ai Floyd in alcuni brani.
