Did this on myth busters, nearly no amount of bacteria is transferred in any way shape or form during a normal double dip and the bacteria that does is in such low quantities it can not hurt someone. People just don't like it because the misconception.

Your mouth contains a fraction of the microbes on your hands because of the lysosymes in your saliva is a natural defense.
