THIS is what I absolutely adore about Infected Mushroom.

Most psytrance or industrial trance bands or DJs use a constant beat throughout the whole song with a drop near the middle.

IM don't keep the same beat up for the whole song, they have SEVERAL drops that they ALWAYS pull of amazingly. All their songs have this perfect build up with and incredibly drop. It makes you wanna' fucken tear the world down with your dancing!!!!

When Infected first moved to LA they came out with this album and I thought it was amazing. I felt they found a really good mainstream type of beat but is still psy and goa trance. I've seen them at parties recently and the music is too much for me. It just sounds like Rock music which is fine but I was use to expecting their previous work.

Progressive mixes it up a lot more. Regular Psytrance is is more minimal. Good examples of this are Skazi, or Astrix, or 1200 Micrograms. Look them up.
