Where can that flag be seen again? I'm surprised every American doesn't have a poster in their house of that flag taken from either earth or space. So, what's taking so long with that picture, has it been 40 years yet?

On another note, has anyone thought of trying to put a satelite in another orbit besides earth's?

Well, we have placed satellites in orbit around Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus, The Sun. We've mapped Mars and the Moon completely. Why I don't know. Placing satellites in long term orbit around other planets hasn't been a priority. But we've proved we're capable of it. Keep up the interest. You've still got lots of things to read.

and whats wrong with film? we have images of other galaxies, why not the moon? the shots from the shuttle of the earth are on film.....thats not digital imagery....so why can' t we have the real images of the moon? your answer sucks

The Dark Side of the moon is just the lunar night. The Dark side is different from the far side of the moon. The lunar day is approximately one month in duration. Why does the moon have no color? is it all just gray dust and rock?

its creepy simply because there in no sound and it's dark. With an inspiring music and comment it would be less creepy and more awesomesauce. We are naturally afraid to be alone in the dark :P it's not the moon that is creepy, open your mp3 player with cool music and watch it again, it's... ...quite beautiful
