I would just get a Surly Pugsley, to save some money or rather a cross check I think that can run 38's could prob make it threw snow pretty easy too. I have a steamroller now.

2. How do you figure? frankly the surly is simply a comercial attempt at what folks have been building for snow and ididabike for decades. The improvement here is not using offset wheels

3. I can ride my road bike in the snow but what does that have to do with anything do you need a 6g snow bike no but do you need a 15g car when a $300 one will get you were you need to go? if you are a huffy rider that is fine but for those who are serious cyclist we get or build bigger

I drive a $300 car, I own over $40,000 in bikes, you spend ur money on a car if you want something better then a hooptie then you pay more for a better car same goes for us and bikes.

A lamborghini (who also makes bikes) has to follow the same speed limit as a festiva but it a little more fun to drive 

frankly I can't justify spending $500 on a cage for me and and my stereo to drone the highway
