The only reason why anonymous hasn't been tracked down is because of the lach of cohesion. nobody knows where to stark looking, they can only track down 1 person at a time which won't make a big difference. Although I'm a supporter of cohesion, I do think it is a good strategy of anonymous not to be united.

While I totally agree with the idea of Anonymous, there still has to be some level of unity with their messages. For example, there is the main Anonymous youtube channel which posts high hit videos... certainly that is not the work of one person, but the work of many together -- hence the unity. What if the anon youtuber put up a video that went against the majority of other Anonymous? Then there would be a disagreement between the two parties. There has to be some level of cohesion.

Brand new to hacking, and im excited! One thing though, anybody have advice on starting to hack? Like i said, im new. I know some things, but still it would be nice to learn more. Which for all intents and purposes in this discussion is an ambiguous statement for either party. Although Privacy is not a legislated right, Anonymous is poised to fight for that right. They understand the freedom of speech and the ability to do what they are doing, WITHOUT legal allegations. If you have not truly read up on them you know nothing other than what the news feeds you.

@MilleniumAtheist I would tell you to never speak of it to people outside the safety of the internet, and really only if your using security measures like a private network (VPN) or tor for firefox. What we do is a kindness for those who are less fortunate, or who have to live under tyranny.
