Why would I buy my lettuce from the back of a train or truck...we only need it now because we have been told we need that..Walmart is a fucking parasite that needs some weed killer. They have destroyed so many small business in canada and our big businesses too...but whatever...people want to buy whats cheaper so my lettuce comes from 2000km away which sucks so its 50 cents cheaper. So i don't buy big box anymore...I buy my stuff from the farmer that grows it.+it has no chemicals to preserve it
Ya...there are lots of bad 4 wheel drivers and 18 wheel drivers but freight should be moved by rail. Heavy trucks r far far too dangerous for roads from a physics standpoint.
@brently1973 Then you wouldn't get your ShamWOW! for 6 to 8 weeks. Get real, dude. When's the last time you saw a Walmart with a rail spur going to it's back door? We live in a "need it now" society. But if you'd rather have your head of lettuce rotting and molding when it arrives in your grocery store, then have at it. And btw, Trains now deliver mostly "non-time sensitive" items. Guess what happens when a railcar gets lost. They send dry bulk tankers like myself in to save the day. :)
@keithk98 People drive around trucks all day long and have no idea how close to dying they come on a daily basis. Be thankful for alert and professional truckers that are serious about there jobs!
@MovieInventor Sorta. More of just an asshole that didn't know where he was and decided to make a last second right hand exit from the left hand lane. What would he have done had I been a bit closer to the exit than he was? He woulda did the same thing, only added a heavier foot to his brakes. And that woulda been cutting me off.
